Re: FG2421 + GPU
My Eizo Foris FG2421 is going great on my GTX 770! I play a lot of BF4 at 1080p, 4x AA, 16x AF, Ultra settings, 100% scaling. Sure, it dips below 45 at times, but to me it stills looks great. I don't agree with the idea that one needs to run games at 120fps if they have 120hz monitor... Sure, its wh...

Blue Light Utilization & Reduction
I was wondering if there was more info on BenQ's blue light reduction. I noticed that almost all TN panels have this purple-ish and blue-ish tint on certain dark gray levels, even after calibration. However, it doesn't seem like dithering is the cause of that. I tested a specific dark gray pattern o...

Re: What is up with LightBoost/Turbo240hz and movie squares?
WIth the latest madVR and high quality 1080p HD content (12Gb+) its hardly an issue, but all 3 of my TVs - one CCFL LCD, another LED LCD, and third is Samsung F5350 plasma end up hiding these artifacts extremely well for HD and SD content. However, LightBoost monitors and Turbo240 show them in their...

What is up with LightBoost/Turbo240hz and movie squares?
My old CCFL HDTV from 2009 with 6ms response time and pretty much all other TVs do a good job at hiding those low-bandwidth/resolution or just general film artifacts that are often represented as squares in dark areas. It happens with full, non-ripped, BD content also. This is a typical example - ht...

Re: Motion resolution - does it change with 120Hz strobing?
Awesome! You are SO helpful indeed! Thank you! That being said, I really wish we could compare today's plasma motion resolution of 1080 lines (I was wrong about 880 lines) with LightBoost/Turbo240. Plasma gets 1080 lines in 60hz, 72hz, and I think 96hz, so it has 1080 lines regardless of refresh rat...

Re: Motion resolution - does it change with 120Hz strobing?
What about actual TVs rather than monitors? Is there any information on that? I do realize this is a monitor-related forum, but I was hoping some info could be available here. I will through those links you posted.
Thank you so much!

Motion resolution - does it change with 120Hz strobing?
I thought Blur-Busters would be the best place to answer some questions I have regarding motion resolution and light-strobing. As far as I know 60hz LCD TV motion resolution is only 300 lines. There are 2 types of 120h/240hz resolutions on modern TVs - one kind of fake (interpolation) that creates a...

I have VG248QE but it cannot produce neutral grays in this test - http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/gradient.php . The dark gray portion of the gradient are purple regardless of calibration settings... I can't stand it... I assume other LightBoost monitors that use the same panel have the same issue.

Re: Eizo Foris FG2421 - Where was yours made? Are you happy?
Well I took a look on the amzon rewiews today, the chances of getting a working monitor are pretty low (One guy gave up after his sixth monitor, but there also was someone who got one without dead pixels nor backlighting problems). I cannot tell you were each of these monitors were produced as noon...
