Re: Windows 10 FullScreen Exclusive Optimization

Thanks! This forum and you are a great source of knowledge! As far as FSE goes, I noticed that some DirectX 11 games, like Far Cry 5, simply will not launch with it disabled, while other games, such as Grim Dawn, at least in the past, would refuse to launch with FSE disabled if ReShade was present. ...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

I have them like this now for NVidia Forced V-Sync + G-Sync on 165Hz display Why are you using Scanline sync with G-SYNC? Scanline sync is, as far as I'm aware, user controllable tearline steering, which means it isn't technically a form of V-SYNC at all, but a V-SYNC OFF method that mimics the loo...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

Nope, not working... SyncScanline0 must be 0 for Grim Dawn to even launch. It sometimes launches when SyncScaline0=1, but FPS fluctuate from 80 to 160 and the game stutters hardcore...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

I figured it out, I think. The settings are manually adjusted in Global profile (opened with Notepad). I have them like this now for NVidia Forced V-Sync + G-Sync on 165Hz display: [Framerate] Limit=160 LimitDenominator=1 LimitTime=0 SyncScanline0=1 SyncScanline1=0 SyncTimeout=0 SyncPeriods=0 The li...

Optimal G-SYNC settings for reference: https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/14/ In-game vs. RTSS vs. Nvidia limiters input lag tests: https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/11/ Huge Thanks! Could you post a shot of where I'd input ...

Windows 10 FullScreen Exclusive Optimization

I hope Blur Busters guru's know what it is and what it does, because I couldn't find a good explanation about it anywhere online. It exists only for Windows 10 versions 1709-15063 (Spring Creator's Update, RS2, I think) and newer. It definitely makes activation of Exclusive Fullscreen mode quicker/s...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

Is RTSS one of the better frame rate limiters? Does it not add an overlay? Why not just use NVidia Inspector Frame Rate Limiter that comes from NVidia drivers? Is RTSS somehow better? NVidia Frame Rate Limiter had options I do not understand - Noop, Flip by Flip, etc. Which one do I want for a G-Syn...

Re: Is it worth to OC when response time and refresh rate do

Which test would you suggest? Maybe TFT Central doesn't know about VA panels needing to warm up for 30 minutes before testing because they show obvious smearing I can't notice what-so-ever, at any refresh rate.

Is it worth to OC when response time and refresh rate don't

LG 32GK850G-B 1440p G-Sync VA display is awesome and can be over clocked to 165Hz, but I get confused about the whole response time matching refresh rate. If you read TFT Central review, it will show how 165Hz results in extra smearing http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/lg_32gk850g.htm#refresh_rate...
