Re: 200Hz Display review/questions

So this monitor doesnt have overdrive, is that correct? Thats a bummer, because overdrive on Benq monitors improves the response time by 2x or even a little higher. For example the XL2430T has these response times without overdrive. The 144hz compares like this: http://www.prad.de/images/monitore/be...

Re: Benq Blur Reduction on Xbox One?

how is the flickering at 60hz guys? Is the single strobe really flickery? What about double strobe @ 60hz, is it even worth using, like does it reduce the motion blur noticably or just very minimal? Im asking, because I consider using it on consoles in COD.. But if it doesnt really improve things or...

Re: NVIDIA Gsync - driver comparison 347.88 vs 340.52

yes its way better. The difference is big in viewing angles and color. Also the Acer doesnt have any issues with pixel inversion or flickering, which many ROG Swift users reported they have with their Asus.

Re: g sync effecting my benchmark scores

Gsync does affect performance if that's what u wanted to hear, esp with the latest drivers. some Previous drivers have less impact on the performance. I would say sync affects performance by 2-5% in my games.

NVIDIA Gsync - driver comparison 347.88 vs 340.52

So after receiving the Acer predator 144hz IPS gsync monitor recently, Ive noticed that Gsync doesnt work on custom resolutions. The monitor has 2560x1440 native resolution. So Im talking about custom resolutions like 2560x1280, which would be a 16:8 resolution. Gsync also doesnt work if you use a c...

Re: Chief Blur Buster visits AMD's FreeSync room at CES 2015

Great, thanks for the update.

I wonder why the LG 24GM77 is there, because it doesnt have gsync or anything special, its just a normal 144hz monitor with motion240.

Yeah I would be interested about progress of OLED for PC Monitors or let alone OLED Notebooks as a start.

Why dont they add ULMB support for 144 hz?

Im really wondering why they dont add 144hz support for ULMB, instead it goes to max 120 hz. Is there a technical limitation for it or smth?

Re: [News] AOC g2460Pg G-Sync monitor to hit UK this month

I think I'll wait for Asuses 24inch monitor. Why is everyone disregarding the AOC for another 24 inch monitors? Does AOC usually have bad quality? I wish we had more reviews available for the AOC g2460pg available. The one available isn't really much in-depth. AOC has 6bit + dithering (similiar new...

Re: G-Sync - Laggy at <55fps, same for you ???

but then- how does the gpu know for how long it should show the doubled image, when the framerate is variable and the gpu is not using any kind of buffering (double or triple)? The variable framerate is really what makes it hard or maybe even impossible without any sort of buffering, since the gpu d...

Re: G-Sync - Laggy at <55fps, same for you ???

doubling the frames would introduce input lag that could be higher than having vsync on so it wouldnt really make much sense. PLus it wouldnt help with overall stuttery look of the game even if the 30fps are all doubled to make it a fake 60fps. And then at fake 60fps, the mouse cursor will still be ...
