How do you intend to replace the Motherboard? Is there a shop where you can order the monitor mainboard?

Re: Benq Low Blue Light DIY?

No its definately the real one, since it supports 144hz natively, which the XL2420T v1 didnt support.

Re: Just upgraded from a Benq XL2411T to a Eizo FG2421

I can see that a strobed VA has way less motion blur than a non-strobed IPS. My question was if actually strobed IPS would make more sense than strobed VA for gaming, since IPS panels are more responsive than VA in general and the colors are somwhat comparable. Not quite, but theyre closer than say ...

Re: Benq XL2411T 120hz and moving lines

I mean horizontal lines, not vertical lines, and heres my initial post about the same issue: http://www.overclock.net/t/1401689/lightboost-problem-with-xl2411t-and-general-scan-lines-problem-at-120-hz Even the Lightboostmode in 120 Hz with both XL2411T and XL2420TE still has this weird problem. Some...

Re: Benq XL2411T 120hz and moving lines

had same problems with xl2411t also at 120hz only, 144hz is bugfree, 120hz is bugged. Have same problem with XL2420TE at 120hz. WEird vertical lines occur at 120hz whether with blur reduction mode or without, the weird behavoir occurs at 120hz. So I just stick to 144hz on the pc. 60hz also doesnt ha...

Re: Removing the AG coating

I tried it on one old TN monitor and the coating didnt come off as easily as with some new monitors and I left the wet towel for like 8-10 hours at least. The result was visible lines from forcibly pulling the coating.

Re: Just upgraded from a Benq XL2411T to a Eizo FG2421

Arent IPS displays generally better suited for high framerate/low input lag, especially gaming? I feel like s-pva displays tend to ghost alot generally and have a high input lag. Even though colors and viewing angles are way better.

Does the FG2421 have PWM backlight or PWM free?

Re: Eizo FG2421 vs BenQ XL2420Z

So have you received the fixed Firmware for XL2720Z and were able to test it Chief? How does G-Sync work on the Z series? What happens if the framerate is higher than 144 fps at times? I suppose it shouldnt have a too big effect, right? I dont care about benq motion blur thing, just care about G-syn...
