Game looks/feels much smoother with gsync ON??
I was playing Fortnite @144 hz and capped my FPS to 200 since I can maintain it for 99% of the time yet my game felt choppy/not smooth to the eyes. I then decided to cap FPS to 141 and turn on gsync + vsync (NVCP) and what you know the game is butter smooth now. 1 thing I want to mention was that at...

Unfortunately not, only that it increased input lag, how much we don't know...

Re: Just discovered overdrive mode
Does overdrive actually end up increasing input lag? I only ask cos techpowerup reviewed it and the input lag was below 10 MS on "Normal" but he said it increased when set to "Extreme" so i don't know, are we doing a trade off between response time vs input lag? I take respone time anytime cos I alr...

Just discovered overdrive mode
XB271HU IPS user here and just discovered this setting which supposedly lowers response times, instantly thought everyone puts this on "Extreme" but reading online the general consensus is to leave it on normal or off some people say the cons of It is that it adds input delay, others say it actually...

Re: Why is ULMB making Fortnite so smooth?!
I didn't think about the fact that sure, input delay is slightly increased, but the fact that motion clarity is improved and therefore reaction time is improved but also the game even looks so much better to my eyes compared to ULMB off that my performance is going up. Does input delay increase even...

Why is ULMB making Fortnite so smooth?!
Not sure wuts going on I was on 240 FPS cap, no sync I decided to run ULMB mode with no other sync and that same 240 FPS game and now my game is smoother? Was motion blur making my game feel laggy to my eyes or wots goin on? I know this is silly but all sudden I'm aiming and building better I think ...

Isn't it better to disable gsync and increase FPS limit?
Talking about IPS monitor here, I believe their response time is 4 MS compared to 1 MS TN right? With that in mind, if some1 has IPS monitor 4 MS (say XB271HU) + enables gsync + caps fps -3 refresh rate how much input lag we talking here, anything significant compared to say someone such as TN 1 MS ...

Question about optimal nvidia settings
Not sure if this is covered on here or if you guys are experienced with different nvidia settings, but aside from ultra low latency mode, are their any nvidia settings that make input lag worse or better OR do all nvidia settings mainly deal with FPS? Anyways I wanted to ask some questions about som...

Re: Cap your fps people (battlenonsense)
^ As far as I'm aware, that new setting (both "on" and "ultra" variants) is typically only useful for reducing input lag in GPU-limited/maxed usage situations. Hey jorimt, from what you know so far about ultra low latency, do you know if it causes input lag if its turned on in games where GPU % is ...
