Re: Blurriness in Overwatch
try dsc off, cap to 360fps and use highest polling rate possible. you might be sensitive to shit rt's or overwatch makes the bad transitions of the pg248qp more prevalent. I tried 240hz as I was thinking the same thing as far as DSC possibly effecting image quality, but once again the difference is...

Re: Blurriness in Overwatch
No idea who you are, as I've not linked any of my socials to these forums or this username in general, but you obviously skulk around my streams. You would've also been there when I brought it up and the amount of time I've spent testing this, 'meatbag' being a term I always use to talk about fleshy...

Re: Blurriness in Overwatch
I don't know if this relates to other games as I mainly play OW2 and there isn't really anything as fast paced as OW2. Quake Champions is faster paced. For normal interactions at range, for sure. In close quarters <10ft with fast ability based characters, I would disagree. is it amd boost? AMD Rade...

Re: Blurriness in Overwatch
Try going to the accessibility settings and turn camera shake, hud shake, and reduce menu movement to OFF/Minimal Also, you can try playing with High Precision Mouse Input, but that does not change how the game feels or looks at all. As per the original post, already tried HPMI and it's on the lowe...

Re: Blurriness in Overwatch
No, no upscaling, 100% render scale, no anti-aliasing. It's a noticeable difference in clarity of the image when you start inputting mouse, more the more hazy it gets. Can be seen simply by taking my hand off my mouse and moving around with the keyboard. I didn't even notice this behavior on my olde...

Blurriness in Overwatch
So I recently bought a PG248QP and in general it's pretty fantastic. One thing I'm attempting to finally nail down is this last bit in OW2. I've tried all the various modes including Gsync/ULMB/normal at 240-540hz and one thing that's immediately noticeable is mouse movement. When you move your mous...

Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024
If you actually look at 960 and put it into context of real world games, you actually realize how 'slow' it is. Even in games like CS or Valorant we all experience fast action when you do a flick or a 90d flick to something new that pops up. I mean, just apply the Blur busters law to whatever pixel ...

Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024
With the improvement in panel technology, people really need to start using faster versions of the pursuit camera and then list the speed it was filmed at. Slower versions, like the default 960, don't separate themselves visibly enough nor are they fast enough to represent a very fast paced game, li...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
If you're talking about the screen door effect, distance between pixels is more noticeable with this monitor then others. Not exactly sure why, goes away if you move around a bit. I've also found at different refresh rates it's more prevalent then at others. Monitor definitely has some strange nuanc...

Apparently neither the LG nor the Asus are going to be glossy, was a misunderstanding that turned into hearsay.
