Re: Monitor for programming/reading - 4K IPS 60hz vs 4K VA 144hz?

There is nothing that makes VA monitors harmful to your eyes. If you prefer that VA over that IPS, return that IPS.

Re: Acer XB273U GX (270Hz 1440p IPS) review

Hello everyone! I currently have the XV272UX and I have seen 3 of them, one for me, one from my best friend and one from my wife. You can ask me all the questions you want about this monitor because it uses the same panel as the Predator! And it has the same Overdrive settings, same panel! I've hea...

VRR does not work with any other OD settings than Normal!
I've heard that on some Acer monitors you can change the overdrive with VRR. Basically, you first have to select the overdrive you want and then enable VRR and that overdrive would stick. Is that the case with your unit?

Re: VG279QM still worth it in 2023 ?

By using less pixels, won't it increase density? Maybe I'm mistaken on how this works. Anyway, you say terrible but it's fine for me. Browsing is not an issue and for movies and gaming which is what I aimed for is excellent. To each their own. No. Pixel density is how tightly packed together the pi...

Re: How to get the most below 144 hz

https://youtu.be/KWEPjoit1_E?t=424 First, make sure ''Low Latency Mode'' is set to OFF in the Nvidia control panel. Install Nvidia Prolife Inspector and set the ''Maximum pre-rendered frames'' setting to 3. A higher number = higher fps and higher input lag. Play with it and see if that tradeoff is w...

You also have the monitor setting Aspect Control and set it to 16:9 (24''W) if you are that picky.
That does nothing to the terrible pixel density of that monitor.

Don't you think 1080p on a 27'' looks terrible?

Re: Gigabyte G24F (ver. 1) - vertical lines

Pixel inversion artifacts are in my opinion the worst kind of monitor defects. They completely mess up the smoothness of everything. Games, videos, scrolling, etc. They are the very first thing I look for after getting a new a monitor. When I see them on a new monitor, I immediately put it back in t...
