Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
I *finally* received my PG259QN but couldn't land on a color profile / setup I liked last night. Also, I don't know WHY but things seem a little softer than my LG 240hz. I wonder if there was any sharpening happening on the LG. I'll have to play around with it today! Did we come to a conclusion on t...

Re: Shroud received his 1440p 240hz display
I agree that when you're gaming, the difference isn't as noticeable. Here's the thing though... people that think that streamers/gamers know anything special about computer hardware is ridiculous. SOME of them do but they are the exception rather than the rule. Shroud knows how to click heads. Howev...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
Just got my PG259QN yesterday and am loving it. No dead pixels either. Now I just need an RTX 3090 to keep those minimum frame times as high as possible. Yes, I know it's a premium and 3080 is way better value, but I'm part of the 1%. Which region? US? I have been unable to get a PG259QN. I have it...

Re: Alienware AW2521H 360hz
Really? I could always be wrong but I own an Asus PG258q and I'm fairly sure it was one of the first 240hz monitors. I looked up the purchase date and I got it from NCIX (rip) 04/2017. I did also find info on the BenQ xl2540 and it appears as if it was announced / listed in Nov 2016 but not availabl...

Re: Alienware AW2521H 360hz
Good find on the user manual!
360hz will eventually come to the masses... we just don't know when. Just like the first 240hz monitors, it took some time for the non-gsync to come to market.

Alienware AW2521H 360hz
As we all know, the Alienware AW2521H is coming soon with 360hz IPS. The panel is likely exactly the same as the Asus PG259QN which is already out... but the features and implementation might be different. Does anyone know if the AW2521H will do 360hz strobbing ? The only person I know that has rece...

That's actually a great idea (to make a core responsible for the polling). With modern CPUs having 8/16 cores, we have more than we need at the moment!

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
The main difference between overclocked 8000hz and 'non overclocked' 8000hz is that you don't have to go through a ton of work to change / hack the drivers. It's like comparing an overclocked CPU at 2000mhz vs a stock CPU at 2000mhz. If it's running at 2000mhz, then that's the speed it's running at....
