Re: Changing drive IO prioty reduces mouse lag significantly
This claim can easily be verified with mousetester, care to show us one before and after? Imagine thinking polling rate is the only variable Its not about thinking polling or any other variable mousetester can show is the only variable. The specific change of changing priorities in the queue can be...

Thanks for sharing your theory. It’s interesting and have some logic. Sorry for the other comments.

Re: [REBOOT] Non-CPU/GPU Bound Input Lag Tests
As for the interrupt moderation, it showed in other tests of mine that there was a major benefit to this combined with diverting the network workload off the first few cores (And limit them to a set amount of processors to process them). However, in these tests, network traffic was basically zero. ...

Re: Games starting to feel choppy/delayed when going online. Does not happen offline.
It happened to me while in a hotel. The system was not responsible even for things that were supposed to be offline only. Turning off the network fixed it. I would bet it's some of the telemetry placed in synchronous code and your connection is poor (blocking the execution). My system feels good be...

Re: [REBOOT] Non-CPU/GPU Bound Input Lag Tests
Thanks for your work! Most of people doing this type of tests usually track changes using events that depends on tickrate and animation. I believe that for input lag it makes more sense to test with “instant events”. I don’t know what it is in CSGO but possibly it’s camera angle, menu, net_graph, cr...

Re: 500hz Mouse on 240hz monitor
What if I create a custom resolution with 250hz? Should I use 250hz at the mouse frequency or it's okay to use 500 or even 1000hz? 250Hz actually has very good motion dynamics when relatively pollrate-synchronized to gaming mice. So does 500Hz (which is why the BOE 500Hz display is fairly exciting,...

Re: 500hz Mouse on 240hz monitor
There's an additional 0.5ms of average input lag an 1ms of variation in input lag, compared to 1000hz. In game it's probably only noticeable statistically, though you may be able to notice the beat frequency effect on cursor movement. Every 25 refreshes there will be two refreshes with an extra pol...

Re: 60fps content stuttering when refresh rate is higher than 60hz
Are you testing with a perfect multiple of 60hz (120/240/360)? Is vsync enabled?
