Re: Certain games blur 120FPS@120HZ but not at 60FPS@60HZ
I think maybe your right nimbulan, I was suspecting something like that. And its also due to LCD response being slow as well and seeing a slight ghosting effect. Cant do anything about the 1st point thats up to the developers. 2nd is to wait for even faster LCDs or OLED. Still both are still WAY bet...

BenQ XL2XXXZ firmware V3
Any chance we are going to get V3 firmware for this series of monitors?
Maybe someone with the know-how for firmware modification can make a custom update?

Re: Always use x=Hz-1 as fps limit?
Assuming you mean with vsync on: It depends from game to game, in my experience. But I never felt any input lag with UE3 games. Some games dont even like it and might stutter. An example which doesnt need any messing around to reduce input lag is metal gear revengence on PC, not sure what kind of bu...

Re: Picture artifacts with VT1350 tweak on XL2720Z
Thanks for explanation chief.
I guess I will keep the VT1350 for lower refresh rates. Rough calculation puts it at 100 hz max before artifacts become visible again.

Picture artifacts with VT1350 tweak on XL2720Z
Anyone noticed a blinds type banding effect on certain colors when using the VT1350 tweak. It easier to see on blue/greyish colors.

Re: Certain games blur 120FPS@120HZ but not at 60FPS@60HZ
yes i checked after making sure all motion blur effects were disabled. I have a couple of theories as to why its happening. 1. It could be related to how the camera is controlled, depending on certain frame rate ticks or in the case of mouse look, its the mouse stuttering getting enhanced at higher ...

Certain games blur 120FPS@120HZ but not at 60FPS@60HZ
Noticed something strange, certain games look to have more motion blur at greater than 60@60 (FPS@HZ). For example Serious Sam 3 running at 85 FPS vsync locked @ 85hz should look smooth and blur free, but notice a slight amount of blurring during motion compared to running at 60@60 which is crystal ...
