Awesome Tip to Improve Blacks for TN/IPS Monitor Owners
I bet this was already stated somewhere and I apologize for double-info if that is so. The best thing you can do for TN & IPS (& even VA) displays to improve depth perception of your black levels is to use bias lighting, which mostly consists of putting a lamp behind your monitor. I would strongly a...

Re: DisplayPort vs HDMI vs DVI-Dual Link
Gotcha. Is there any other reason to use one or another? I recall you advising to use DVI Dual-Link in some thread, but maybe I was wrong...

DisplayPort vs HDMI vs DVI-Dual Link
I've seen some info that DisplayPort may reduce the amount of input lag in comparison to HDMI and DVI-Dual Link. I didn't believe it, but maybe I was wrong. DisplayPort can also support more colors or so say the system specs, but AFAIK, that doesn't mean that the monitor itself supports that many. F...

Re: Eizo FG2421 -- [Turbo240 is EIZO equivalent of lightboos
FG2421 does not force 120Hz. It can run @ 120Hz, 100Hz, and even 60Hz in Turbo/light-strobing mode . I tried using 60Hz with light-strobing mode, and it was far better than any normal 60Hz LCD in terms of clarity, BUT even having consistent Turbo 60Hz and 60FPS at all times did not come close to ha...

Re: Utility to adjust G-Sync ULBM?
Well, there is some information that this monitor can support DDC only via DVI-D, which I do not have...

Re: Eizo FG2421 -- [Turbo240 is EIZO equivalent of lightboos
This monitor is supposed to be PWM-free at brightness setting of 20+, but does that apply to Turbo 240Hz mode? From what I understand, light strobing cannot occur without PWM, can it?

Re: Utility to adjust G-Sync ULBM?
The whole "DDC/CI unsupported" cannot be true because Eizo provides a USB wire and connection that allows for internal adjustments via Eizo's Screen Manager Pro for LCD program. The industrial monitor supposedly uses Screen Manager Pro for LCD v. 3.3.3 but such version is nowhere to be found on the ...

Re: Utility to adjust G-Sync ULBM?
The reason I am asking is because I was wondering if there was a way to use that utility to edit information for Eizo Foris FG2421. Eizo Foris FG2421 uses defective parts or parts that haven't passed quality control for a much more expensive industrial monitor for satellite imagery work - Eizo DuraV...

Utility to adjust G-Sync ULBM?
I kept searching and searching and searching, but couldn't find that page on Blur Buster's that provided a link to a program/utility that adjusts VG248QE G-Sync-upgraded monitors ULBM mode. It does it via DDC/ADC and its separate, not related to nVidia or ASUS... I know it exists for a fact as I've ...
