Re: XG2402 vs XG2530

Just saw a review from Prad.de with XG240R, wich is basically the same monitor as XG2402. Prad: input lag 3.6ms. RTINGS: input lag 4.1ms. PCMonitors: input lag 3.16ms. The monitor has 5 levels of overdrive. I think RTINGS used 'faster=3' and Prad used 'fastest=5' wich already gives an amazing 3.6ms,...

Re: Should i go with 144hz or 240 ? G-sync or not ?

I did order the 27 inch viewsonic, it will arrive on wednesday. I will report back how the 27 panel performs :) I hope you mean the XG2702. I'm curious to know if you get excelent input lag, almost no blur and decent image. According to RTINGS it should perform the same as XG2402: "We tested the 24...

Re: Viewsonic XG2530 Input Lag Question

The way to know if lower input lag with 144hz is worth it over 240hz with higher input lag, is to try both models one after the other. Play 30 minutes with 144hz and unplug, plug the 240hz. If there is a difference, a player will feel it. With first person shooters at least. There is always the chan...

Re: gaming monitor for rtx 2060?

Notty_PT, there is the XG2702. It's supposed to be the same monitor, just bigger.
Shouldn't it be the same in performance as the XG2402?
XG2702 is around 300€.

Re: ViewSonic VX2458-C-mhd / XG240R

This type of monitors (curved) must be great for games like warcfraft and racing, just not first person shooters.
In racing games is there blur? Or it just happens moving a mouse quickly?
If i could i would get the xg2402 for FPS and a curved for the rest. :D

ViewSonic VX2458-C-mhd / XG240R

XG240R replaces XG2402 but it's the same monitor, they just added a fancy light and will cost around 280€. VX2458-C-mhd is curved, VA panel, 144hz, 1ms GtG and costs 200€. What's the catch here??!! VA panel is not good for gaming? Huge input lag? I already decided i wanted the XG2402/XG240R but the ...

Re: XG2402 vs XG2530

Considering the small diference in input lag and image blur with 144hz and 240hz i want the XG2402. Problem is to find it. There must be some distribution issue or it's not for sale anymore. If you are familiar with Quake, you must have heard about QuakeWorld. The most difficult game to master, requ...

Re: XG2402 vs XG2530

Don't know how precise those values are for XG from pcmonitors.info. XG2402 from Rtings is 4.1ms input lag. 3.16ms beats all monitors in the market. And the 8.67ms for XG2530 must be accounting pixel response time. If not, it's too high. Pixel response is 1ms gray-to-gray, for other colors it varies...

Re: XG2402 vs XG2530

I'm in the same situation. I want to buy XG2402, from what i read it's the best 144hz monitor for gaming with good image but i can't find it anywhere, physical store and online. Would be very strange if it's not for sale anymore. I can get XG2530 for 300€, only thing i'm worried is i don't know what...
