Re: Digital to analog video converters not working for GDM-F
This issue has been discussed quite a lot lately on the FW900 thread on hardforum. From what I've been able to gather, there is hope, but also a fair amount of uncertainty. Based on your post, I assume you might be one of the posters on that thread :) https://hardforum.com/threads/24-widescreen-crt-...

Re: FreeSync worked on CRT too -- tested by a few!
The Sony GDM FW900 is newer and far superior to the W900 (the full name of the W900 is Sony GDM W900, not FD-W900) It has a flat screen (W900 is curved). It supports higher frequencies. It has a smaller dot pitch. I believe it's a completely different tube. The electron gun optics are probably newer...

Re: FreeSync test worked on CRT too!
I don't have the W900, I have the FW900 which is far betterChief Blur Buster wrote: I'd love you to test FreeSync on your old Sony GDM-W900. Just needs ToastyX CRU to force FreeSync on VGA (via HDMI-to-VGA adaptor).
But yes, will look into this when I get a chance.

Re: 1000fps cameras in smartphones! Good for display analysi
This is insane. My casio exlim zr700 can do 1000 fps, but only at a resolution of 224x64 .
1000 fps in full HD is getting into phantom camera territory.

Re: Would plasma TV give similar results when playing consol
Your question isn't properly formed. Similar results to what? To a computer monitor? To an LCD TV? You're coming here, asking others to help you with something. The least you can do is properly form your question to make it easier to answer. Be specific. Similar along what dimension? Input lag? Moti...
