My guess is that any games where framerate locking is required for the engine to run correctly (Dark Souls, Deadly Premonition) but if there were a list or guide, that would be handy to have. The information I got is from NVIDIA's GSYNC's FAQ . Very few games. The games...

Re: Welcome!
Is there going to be an off topic section of the forums? Eventually, yes. For now, you're welcome to post about anything technology-related in General (within common forum rules, of course!). Once there's too many offtopic threads, they'll be moved to the right forum in due time. I'm erring on the ...

Re: My recent TN purchase. Where'd I go wrong?
That list is actually what I'm going to be keeping my eyes on as G-Sync comes out. However, like I said in my post, G-Sync does for 60hz what 144hz couldn't do alone Yes -- however, also keep in mind GSYNC also improves >60Hz operation too! I am wondering, though. Someone told me that G-Sync still ...

Re: Awesome a forum!
Thanks for the compliment! As forums are a chicken and egg that takes time to grow -- come back frequently; and reply to any topics that you know anything about. You're also the original creator of the " HDTV Blur " article on Wikipedia (now renamed "Display Motion Blur"). From knowing you on Blur B...

Input Lag of Strobe Backlights
Just like prad.de and tftcentral.co.uk, I also have a photodiode oscillscope. With my photodiode oscillscope (time measured from Direct3D Present() to first light hitting photodiode) -- I've measured 11ms average for LightBoost and 19ms average for Turbo240. They are pretty good compared to the 60Hz...

Thanks for reporting this! This is our first discussion forum. I've tweaked things, so email mark [at] blurbusters.com if replying to my PM still doesn't work.

Re: G-SYNC Upgrade Board Giveaway!
Good submission; this qualifies! For other readers, Guy's post is a reasonable size to aim for. Feel free to write larger or smaller; but ideally keep it less than one screenful (default font size at 1080p) for the text part, and the photo is optional.Guy wrote:Hi i'm Clayton AKA Guy...
