Re: TN with good colors, contrast?
Just in case: have you tried to adjust the "Black eQualizer" settings? Not sure what 2411 version you have (T, P, ...) but i think all have that. Also for Tarkov, try tweaking the PostFX settings if you have not done it yet ;) . Yeah, I adjusted some settings in Game, but the problem is also that t...

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
What makes the mag251rx king of monitors currently is it's versatility. I can game with 30-60fps console games no problem with elite level input lag. Just turn on adaptive sync. I've play crash team raching on my ps4pro and modern warfare/apex at 30-60fps and it's a treat with the mag251rx. I haven...

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
Would anyone with this monitor recommend it for:
- Non-240FPS games? (i mean, no esports games like CSGO, ect...)
- Using it set at 120Hz (+12bits)?
- 60FPS (or less) games? (despite having good input lag)
Or is better to stick to lower Hz (and cheaper ) monitors?
Thanks in advance .

Re: Eye-Care Technology / Flicker Free, Backlight Strobing etc.
If you don't mind, what monitor did you have before (that didn't hurt your eyes)? So I initially had a benq gw2270 which was very comfortable to look at. As my first 144hz monitor I decided to go with the benq xl2430 and strained my eyes to hell, I'd remember feeling a legit burning sensation. And ...

Re: Eye-Care Technology / Flicker Free, Backlight Strobing etc.
... Can i ask you: does is show somewhere on Windows if it uses 6+2, or it will always show 8-Bits even if is not real 8bits? I want to know if the current monitor i have is actually 8 bits. Also, do you have any "symptoms" or just eye strain and headache? Thanks anyway ;) . Keep in mind dithering ...

Re: Motion smoothness: LCD vs CRT
Oh sorry, didn't understand it correctly. Again, i'm not the best to answer, but, from what i've read (and worse, from what i have understood :P ), there is no an equivalence like that, and to achieve CRT motion clarity the best (nowdays) way is to buy a 240Hz monitor, and set strobing mode at 120Hz...

Re: Help me find if it's the config, usage, the eyes or just the monitor. Would the XL2411P be better?
I'm trying everything i can, but i don't seem to be touching the correct key if there is one. My main problem is: do you know when you look at a light and it seems to "burn" in your retinas for a while?, well, here is the same on a really lower scale, but i kinda find it like that, so at the end it ...

Re: 05/22/2020 UPDATE. The IPS 240hz monitor tier list.(I've measured/tried the all) and my honest explanation why.
... i killed TWO birds with ONE stone that day. Actually 3 birds (less input lag, less blurry screen, and 12 bit color depth) ... Just to be sure: the "less input lag" and the "less blurry screen" applies to both 120Hz and 240Hz, right? The only change would be 10bits at 240Hz, and 12bits at 120Hz,...

Re: Eye-Care Technology / Flicker Free, Backlight Strobing etc.
... I'm not really informed about the harm that display could cause to one eyes, all I talked about was factors that effect strain and how to minimize it. However, it would be good to avoid any form of possible flicker even if it's for the peace of mind. So yeah I'd advise to go with monitor that d...
