Re: Cap your fps people (battlenonsense)
Would it be possible to cap GPU utilization instead of capping framerate? Or would the algorithm be impossible? Do we even know exactly why lowering utilization reduces input lag? 100% gpu utilization causing extra input lag makes sense to me because the cpu finishes and has to wait for the gpu. Tha...

Re: Sharpness vs Refresh Rate for an FPS
It depends on your gameplay style. I like to do a lot of sniping from very long distances. Sometimes the characters' heads are so small they're only be a few pixels in width. Extra resolution helps a lot there. When I went from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 it definitely helped me in a lot of situations. B...

Re: Wooting One keyboard tested against Logitech G Pro Keybo
Wooting also has a relevant blog post on their website: What influences keyboard input speed That's an awesome article. Also with regards to pushing the key in the center to reduce physical actuation time concave keycaps help a lot because they guide your fingers to the center of the key. The Logit...

Re: G-SYNC Indicator not displaying in Fortnite

So when the snoody cat, and the courageous dog, with the celebrity voices meet for the first time in reel three, that's when you'll catch a flash of Tyler's contribution to the film.

Re: Photos from DisplayWeek 2019! Not Your Usual CES/E3 Show
Could you tell how good the backlight uniformity was? Also, it sounded like they were saying it's actually each sub pixel being layered, is that correct? Are the layers actually so close together that it's accurate from a typical viewing angle? It seems like you could get some interesting artifactin...
