Re: The standalone DIY G-Sync board available?
BenQ XL2720G 1920×1080 27-inch BenQ XL2420G 1920×1080 24-inch I wonder if they'll have the ULMB button, the BenQ motion blur reduction, or both. I'm still waiting to know how long is the strobe length in both modes. The new ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q sounds very interesting. If it has a IPS panel, I'll ...

Re: How does limiting 2 fps below refresh rate help mouse la
Having a framerate slightly different from the refresh rate sounds like it would make rolling tearing worse, not better. Does this actually work? For fps capping, I'm using MSI Aterburner + RTSS. With vsync off: Playing at 75Hz, if I cap the fps to 74, the image tears once per second, from top to b...

Re: List of Game Fixes; Get Games to work at 120Hz
Dark Souls First things first: go download the latest version of DSfix . Without it, you're stuck playing Dark Souls capped at 30 fps and 720p internal rendering. In DSfix, you can set the game to play at 60fps but, due to limitations in the port, it doesn't seem possible to run any higher than tha...

Re: Eizo FG2421
Actually, after actually getting it, I found out the strobe length is just a bit under 2.3 milliseconds, which is better than LightBoost=100% but worse than LightBoost=100% . In addition, it has the minor pre-strobe (<0.5ms) between the bright strobes, which slightly affects motion clarity but not ...

Re: Optimal mouse DPI setting for 120 hz display 1080p
ME: I'm a fingertip gripper that keeps my wrist stationary, and so I like to play most of my FPS games without moving my wrist around -- which is part of the reason why I like ultra-accurate high-DPI mice so I can flick sideways in place to turn 180. Sometimes I'll hover my wrist in the air, and so...

Re: Eizo FG2421
I have a few questions about this monitor. If I find your answers satisfactory, I might even buy this monitor today (or very soon)! 1- How long is the strobe length? Here you said that the strobe length is shorter than Lightboost: http://www.overclock.net/t/1438195/eizo-new-240hz-eizo-foris-fg2421-g...
