Re: Iiyama ProLite GB2488HSU-B1 144hz
From review: It's a shame that Iiyama sticks with USB 2.0 ports rather than USB 3.0 and that you can't use the Overdrive function with the Direct Drive mode. Overdrive is for faster pixel transition time. Direct Drive is for faster frame transition time - input lag. So you can use only 1 of 2. This ...

Re: This lightboost stuff seems pretty overrated...
I recommend to use FPS1 or FPS2 mode instead standard for playing in terms of input lag and pixel respone time.

Re: Horizontal black/white lines on ASUS VG248QE
It's know problem for 144hz monitors. I don't know what causes it but i got same on BenQ XL2411T at 120/144hz with disabled LightBoost in days when I tried LightBoost. Try to uninstall strobelight, reset to default parameters at monitor's OSD then power off PC, disconnect DVI, disconnect power from ...

Re: DIY 240Hz Non-interpolated zero-buffer display.
XL2411T has 180 Hz PWM. My XL2411T (Version 1) seemed to have this PWM at 360Hz (during 120Hz). I could easily see it occuring as a triple image effect in a TestUFO motion test ( multi-image PWM artifact ) "(18 kHz instead of 180 Hz)" from http://display-corner.epfl.ch/index.php/BenQ_XL2411Z#Access...

Re: DIY 240Hz Non-interpolated zero-buffer display.
I'll be glad to see XL2411Z overclocked or modified since it has PWM 18 kHz. XL2411T has 180 Hz PWM.

Re: 4K G-Sync inbound
I have one silly question: Does current g-sync (on asus vg248qe) operate correctly at lower resolutions?
I hope g-sync will work correctly at any lower res at this Acer 4K display.
