Hello all, I was looking at the Viewsonic XG270 and to the ASUS VG279QM (does it have red phosphor problems?), although i was leaning to the asus as seems to have better screen coating (could not really find a lot of info on the xg270 one). -offtopic: asus ask chief to tune your VG279QM as you have ...

Anyone that has this monitor could tell me how is the coating? (if it helps, i see that better by looking at its sides), is it grainy or add some kind of colour?

Also, anyone has tried this and the Viewsonic XG270?

I always like to look at monitor-TVs from the side to see if it adds some colour, and thought is was just TNs because of their bad angles, but never knew it could be the anti glare coating (too?). As i am looking for a new PC, what parts are more important to give this monitor a good use? in other words what's the minimum i should get? (i guess main part is GPU, but just to be sure).
