Re: Keyboard input lag
No idea exactly how you'd test this Like this: https://youtu.be/T4LB3JrDK_Y?t=723 With Arduino. Spot a difference in motion to photon latency between 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz and 8000 Hz: https://i.imgur.com/6qGyVUB.png Read my other post on this topic for more info: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopi...

Re: Is the following test method for input lag valid?
I would then get an LED, solder it to a wire, and then stick the wire on a key on a keyboard, then I would basically make a finger glove that connects to a battery and has a connection exposed at the end, so if I put the finger glove on and press the key with the LED on it, the LED would light up. ...

Re: Will i get more Input lag with Custom Resolution and Refresh rate?
So if i make a custom resolution while DP 1.4 connected on Nvidia Settings 2560x1440 144hz Will i get more response time, input lag or it’ll be just same as 165hz ? You will for sure get more input lag at 144 Hz than on 165 Hz because at 144 Hz it will take your monitor longer to fully refresh(same...

Re: Are there input lag tests CRT vs 240 Hz?
Stopwatch start varies between different websites and testers - Frame completion stopwatching - VBI stopwatching - Sync technology variances (VSYNC ON, VSYNC OFF, G-SYNC) - Etc. Stopwatch stop varies between different websites and testers - First faint photon visibility (e.g. GtG1% or GtG2%), often...

Re: Are there input lag tests CRT vs 240 Hz?
Just wondering if CRTs are still faster. Short answer: Yes, they are. But by only 1-2 milliseconds max versus the best LCDs. Ok. Well, are there tests with concrete numbers? I would like to see something like this: CSGO Flood map 1000 measurements each test LCD 60 Hz 500 FPS: 13.26ms average LCD 12...

Are there input lag tests CRT vs 240 Hz?
Did anyone test and published their results for CRT vs 240+ Hz?
Something like this:
But for monitors respectively. Or automated tests using Arduino and photo- resistor/diode/transistor, doesn't really matter.

GeForce Powered High FPS CS:GO SLO-MO Video
https://youtu.be/uJxxCgKa0mU?t=72 I counted and model on 60 HZ is behind model on 240 Hz by 3 updates(3 updates on 60 Hz). Is that real? Or did they rig everything? If that was true, if my calculations are right, it would mean that lag on 60 Hz is 16.66(7)*3 = ~50ms bigger than on 240 Hz. Is there ...

Still, is there a test somewhere Nvidia vs AMD graphics card on a normal monitor without all this sync stuff?

Re: There's 10ms more input lag on Nvidia than on AMD?
No! Those testes were simply influenced by the monitor Model he used! I can assure you this is not the case because I have several monitors and this never happened. Gsync activaded half input lag of Gsync oFF? No way, this is a problem with that Asus model, nothing else and I´m sure he will adress ...

There's 10ms more input lag on Nvidia than on AMD?
So I watched this video:
Does that mean that on Nvidia video cards there's 10ms more lag than on AMD cards in CS:GO? Is there a test on normal monitor AMD vs Nvidia in CS:GO with in-game FPS cap somewhere?
