[For what it's worth, my revision does not have the issue. However it would still be nice to have an updated firmware that could resolve the issues for others and add more flexibility to an otherwise great monitor]

I wonder what the process would be to purchase a bunch of 0.5ms panels & then find a company to supply the electronics / monitor frame / assembling.
