Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync

There is no ready-to-go firmware update through OnScreen control atm. But as we can see the user-friendly sequence of updating monitor's firmware is enabled through this software for at least one monitor model. I beleive if many people complain about this monitor current flaws, such as stuttering is...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync

TFTCentral tested other LG newer monitor. And it has a firmware update through the OnScreen control software and its input lag results are way better with new firmware. Gonna check if 27GK750F-B may receive the same kind of an update http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/lg_34gk950f.htm#firmware Maybe...

Hmmm, mine goes asleep fine, it shows "no signal detected, preparing to sleep" and then actually goes asleep with no issues.

Yes it should be exportable via softMCCS.
You can also try to recreate a resolution via CRU using these values you got changed via softMCCS.

Re: How to fix freesync displays that works worse on Nvidia

It is very likely that different signal sources (different graphics cards with their different drivers) are feeding the monitor with slightly different exact timings in their max refreshrate resolution. Look at the exact max resolution timings on your Macbook when the issue is not present with frees...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync

A new interesting thing to try with newer Nvidia gsync enabled drivers and a subject Freesync monitor. https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5000 I'm on kinda old 385.69 driver. If maybe someone can find the difference between gsync-enabled exact resolution and "normal" resolution, it m...

Re: How to fix freesync displays that works worse on Nvidia

Nvidia control panel is known as innacurate in reporting exact refreshrate timings. I recommend using CRU to find any differences in current (240hz) refreshrates under Extension blocks.

But, should resulutions under CRU ever be different when freesync/gsync is monitor enabled?

Input lag is higher on Nvidia Pascal then on AMD Polaris?

Battle(non)sense claims. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=877&v=L42nx6ubpfg What I must say, this aspect is completely unexplored. But some time ago with one of forum users we found that somehow system DPC latency may differ if switching refresh rates. Here we know that every resreshrate ...
