240 hz monitor stuck between these 3...

AW2518HF and the Asus XG258Q (non g sync version of PG258Q) and the Zowie XL2546 (newer model of XL2540) So far from my research, I would buy the xl2546 cos of dyac at 240 hz but I also read that they have one of the most slowest response time out of the other 240 hz monitors. No1 really backs up th...

Re: My new AW2518H has white horrizontal lines on the right side?

Actually quick update, Did some reboots and what not and the lines stayed there. Then 2 days ago I was messing around with ulmb and looked at the lines and they were gone, still not sure if that was because of ULMB or if they were gone on their own from something else Now, today only 1 line is back,...

My new AW2518H has white horrizontal lines on the right side?

Pictures are below, just unboxed this monitor, 240 hz works all good with no flicker, gsync is all good as well. I have the response time set to normal because fast and superfast have inverse ghosting but other than that the monitor is all good except for those annoying white lines that seem to only...

Re: Is my IPS monitor holding me back?

I am currently eyeing the AW2518H and the PG258Q monitors as 1080p tn 240 hz gsync. Please dont. They are using old TN Panels from 2017. Keep an eye on Monitors with new TN-Panels. He's right, i would keep my eye on the new 1.9 AUO panels from acer, including the G-Sync XN3 here: https://pcmonitors...

Is my IPS monitor holding me back?

Fortnite player here trying to compete at the high levels and I can't help but think that my IPS monitor is holding me back when competing at the high levels of this game (could also be a mindset thing but I gotta test this to be sure). Don't get me wrong being casually competitive in normal lobbies...

Re: Question about overclock

When I OC to 165 hz, ghosting is not visible using the site you provided. Why would people prefer an extra 21 hz? For those who use gsync I guess I kinda would understand it cos they cap at 141 so extra 21 hz means a cap at 162 which means slightly less input lag (again super minor). Does an extra 2...

Question about overclock

Have a 144 hz xb271hu monitor but its possible to overclock it to 165 hz which would improve my input delay (super minor) from 141 fps cap to 162 cap for gsync. But I heard somewhere that this overclock actually increases monitor response time and not actually lower it, so if that's the case then no...
