Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
But then then it becomes unclear what the nits are with medium and short pulse. 30 and 150 nits? That cannot be correct. Can someone please explain? Makes perfect sense. Shorter the pulse width, lower the brightness - trading off brightness for motion clarity. Half the pulse, half the nits. That's ...

Re: AW2523HF 360Hz
The next issue which I haven't been able to resolve is cursor skipping at higher refresh rates (~300+), and is the worst at 360Hz. I haven't noticed any frame skipping, yet the cursor doesn't get drawn every X amount of refreshes. This behavior did not exist on the Acer X25 360Hz, and this behavior...

Re: recommended settings for XG2431
In theory it just means conditions are not met for that fraction of time which with strobing results in tearing/micro stuttering/double images. Ideally you want vsync-like FPS=Hz/perfect flat frame times 100% of the time, but thats not always realistic. Idk what he prefers, but yeah, strobing off is...

Re: recommended settings for XG2431
If u prefer using it at max refresh rate for lowest latency, there may be no need for strobe utility. Vertical totals are already maxed out at max refresh rate meaning no significant crosstalk improvements can be done. I guess you could adjust the phase (to less aesthetically pleasing one) if u pri...

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
Can you please explain how you did this in CRU? Thank you for your time can't figure out why I receive so much tearing with this monitor It worked out of the box up to 255 fps. U should find many image examples on google: https://www.google.com/search?q=cru+vrr+range&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjeldPeiaqCA...

XG27AQM is perfectly fine, just keep it. Upgrade to another similar Hz LCD would be insignificant.

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
We all know that AW2521H doesn't support freesync, and I've tried to make it work when I first bought it, to no success... On my AW2521H VRR has always worked. I only had to expand the range from default 255 to 360 Hz in CRU. But yeah, Rtings in their review also said freesync doesn't work on AMD. ...
