Re: OMEN X 25 or Predator XN253QN for G-Sync?
I got the XN253QX and it's pretty good overall, but the contrast ratio sucks. Great overdrive tuning, good OOTB colour and gamma accuracy on the 2.2 gamma setting (which corresponds to a 2.27 central average - perfect for TN with gamma shift) and the 144Hz ULMB mode is superb with little strobe cros...

Re: Nitro XF252Q vs Omen X 25F
Can someone explain how does the Omen have lower input lag although it states 1ms GtG while the Nitro has slightly higher input lag with 0.3ms GtG? What about the XN253QX and KD25F that they state 0.4/0.5ms respectively, is this not the case? I also see that @ tomshardware reviews the Omen has lowe...

Re: Wich one should I choose from these 3?
Wouldn't bother with the XL2546 when it's using the older M250HTN panel and the new panels are making their way into monitors such as XF252Q over the next few months.

Re: New low latency nvidia drivers
Is there any utility whatsoever to these low input lag modes when running 200+ fps VSYNC OFF on 144hz monitor?

Re: XF252Q Up on Amazon!
I'm very tempted to get the XF252Q but I'm trying to wait for a ViewSonic implementation of the M250HTN01.9... Or at the very least, the XN253QX since I want to try true G-sync. I hate how staggered and slow monitor launches are. Wish they could be more like video card launches.

How is colour temp and gamma, subjectively? Once set to the best OSD mode, of course.kronos wrote:Here it is:

Re: LG 24GL600F-B $159.99 vs Viewsonic XG2402 $229.99
24GL600F: slightly better contrast ratio and perhaps slightly greater sRGB coverage
XG240R: slightly better overdrive tuning
There is the 24GL650F now with a proper height adjustable stand if you want to wait for that. It's the monitor I would get.

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet
@Notty_PT Plus the monitor is cheap. Depends, price at the moment in Europe around €380-€420 is not what I call cheap ;) Keep in mind this monitor has no black frame insertion, black Stabilizer, built-in speakers, swivel or rotate function if you need those kind of things. @masneb The HP website li...

Wish one of the new M250HTN01.9 monitors would become available in Australia already. The Omen X 25 is up on HP's site but with no international shipping.

Re: XN253Q 0.4ms gsync
Yes looks like G-Sync version of XF252Q. New M250HTN01.9 panel. Eagerly awaiting availability, as the XF252Q is already purchasable on amazon but seems to have some whack preset image quality -- 2.5 gamma according to TFTCentral. There are gamma modes, but they still used the same 2.2 OSD mode which...
