Re: Inherent click delay found in mice.
true for some mice but i believe most modern mice have a "base dpi" of 800 though, which means there's really no reason to use 400 in 3d games. This is exactly it. The most accurate DPI is the native DPI of the mouse's sensor, not just that lower is better or that 400 is the best. Many mice also ha...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
Does the polling rate of the gamepad matter? I could not find anything about a 1000 hz gamepad. No. The thumbsticks on the gamepad are not tracking absolute position of the camera like a mouse, they are tracking the speed at which the camera should move. That way the game engine can handle the posi...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
Gmod gsync micro stutters on any setting besides fps_max 100. Tried forcing different dx levels with -dxlevel 80 and setting different prerenderd frames with no avail. Tried to cap with RivaTuner and still doesn't work. Even with vsync enabled. I got a feeling that Gmod can only display 100 frames ...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
Let's hope so. I'm a bit worried after the trouble I had with Max Payne 3 since it's on the same engine, but they've had a few years to improve it.Joolsyz wrote:With GTA V out in a couple of days it'll be interesting to see how it it runs under G-Sync, fingers crossed it works well.

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
It's definitely not a mouse issue for me. It's a game engine stutter, not an input stutter.Joolsyz wrote:Max Payne 3 ran perfectly with g-sync on my system under dx 11 but that's with a pad, I've not tested it much with the mouse.

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
I didn't find bioshock infinite particularly smooth under g-sync either. Runs perfectly with bioshock 2 though. And theres some games that just mouse skip like Max Payne 3, but are really smooth with a pad. But Arkham Origins isnt smooth with either but i think those are both game problems cause th...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
Bioshock Infinite seems rather stuttery, dont remember that last time i played it but i had it vsynced on 60fps last time, this time i seem to get odd stutters and sometimes gsync just doesnt like areas. It's been a while since I've played Bioshock Infinite but my previous experience tells me that ...

Re: nVidia Interview - Why G-Sync Is Superior to FreeSync
The interview does bring up the interesting point about the increased ghosting in the Adaptive-sync panels, but it does a very bad job discussing the underlying reasoning IMO. I was under the impression that ghosting is mostly a product of back-end T-CON behavior, which has little to nothing to do ...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
I can tell you that my Logitech G400s has zero issues with variable refresh rates. I have yet to run into a game that runs smoothly with G-Sync yet stutters when moving the mouse. And trust me, I am very sensitive to that sort of thing.

Re: nVidia Interview - Why G-Sync Is Superior to FreeSync
Thats interesting, does anyone know if the GSYNC mode fixes the intense over shoot of Overdrive? because ATM that's one of my main complaints of my Benq monitor. From my understanding the G-Sync modules are tuned for each monitor to provide the best image quality whether G-Sync mode is enabled or n...
