Ashrr your gpu is Nvidia right?If it is then problem is from your Nvidia drivers.I will explain a way for you to try after your answer.

I can help with this.Dont create a custom resolution.Use your native resolution.
Gpu settings: Enter scaling settings screen.Select size tab.Enable desktop resizing.Then resize.And you can play all your games with no input lag with your smaller screen.

I always wanted height adjustment and some setting like vividpixel for years.I finally found both of them.I think I am in love with my monitor.No one can touch it except me. And this very low input lag.It feels like my right hand and this monitor both are in perfect harmony.
