Re: how "bad" really is 27" 1080p compared to 25" ?

I returned my VG279QM because it was awful compared to a 1440p monitor on 27". I'll wait for 240 Hz 1440p to become more widespread instead. Even if they do make 1440p/240hz you will not be able to use it due to lack of FPS, for 240hz the best is 1080p. If you like 27" and 1440p - you can only thin...

I'm waiting on the BenQ Zowie XL2746S to release later this week so I can grab it.
27" TN is going to look so... bad.

The viewing angles are so bad at 24" let alone 27"!
<10 ppi won't matter to me. The xl2746S is ordered:

Re: Which 240hz 1080p to get for Battle Royals?

I wrestled with the same dilemma as you OP. I finally settled on the BenQ xl2746S as I can't stand 24.5" monitors (too small). The <10 ppi difference is so negligible that it made no sense to me to get the 24.5" xl2546s. I currently have a 4 year old Asus PG278Q so when the BenQ arrives next month I...

Re: Best Monitors For Competitive Gaming?

No IPS monitor will be a contender for the best competitive gaming monitor, let's toss that notion out the window. Personally I think BenQ has the best one with the Zowie XL2746S and soon XL2546S. Very fast new generation panels with Zowie overvolted DyAc and they support VRR. Asus has a 360 Hz disp...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S

Available for sale now on their website, the price is a steep $650 for a 1080p monitor. I'm going to wait on Amazon to have it in stock before I buy though.

One question people. When we put this screen in 144hz mode for the ULMB, The extra input lag comes from putting the screen into 144hz mode itself or its the Black image insertion?
Probably a bit of both.

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S

Here's a translated review that went up today of the XL2746: https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://playwares.com/dpreview/57666851# Pertinent points: 1. Input lag: 2-3 ms at 240 Hz 2. Peak luminance: ~360 nits 3. Contrast ratio: ~1100-1270ish 4. Color: ~72% NTSC 5. Resp...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S

I found this on a korean YT channel today, its a blur test of the XL2746S and they also have one of the XL2546: XL2746S: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8YxU25eRSE XL2546: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8CJhbnvdrw The motion for the XL2746S looks great based on that test, I'm actually hyped to ge...

Re: XF252Q and XV253QX

Well IPS will never be as smooth as TN in my opinion so if you want the absolute best motion handling, I'd still stick with TN.

I think NVIDIA removed 3DVision from the latest drivers.
