The 700€+ version may be the XG270QG version which is 1440p/144hz. Amazon listed them incorrectly here aswell earlier, its possible other retailer made the same mistake.

Its already available in Europe, I am in Germany and picked mine up 2 weeks ago.

I think I may have found a solution; using CRU to set Vrate to 55 seems to have eliminated the black screen issue. So far ive played ~6hrs of Destiny2 and have not gotten a single black screen.

OSD menu > Setup and then scroll down three pages.

I use G-Sync for games where I cant mantain stable frame rates since PureXP suffers during framedrops.
Also PureXP works best at around 120-144hz and I like to play at 240hz for some shooters.

I am obviously not speaking for Blurbusters but i'd say theres a pretty strong chance of 24" Blurbusters certified monitors to exist in the future. They probably didnt launch their new certification program just for the XG270.
