Re: RTINGS Suggest-a-Monitor
Did they introduce some changes recently? New data for BFI, new response time tables, 120 Hz performance and more... I'm not sure how was it before. Many reviews are being updated Thanks for pointing that out! Indeed, some of the color calibration settings have definitely been changed for my monito...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Looks like RTINGS.com recalibrated color profile for VG259QM: review . Old RGB settings were: 97-100-95 New RGB numbers: 100-98-91 Brightness (17) and contrast (80) are still the same. Also icc-profile now can be downloaded directly from the link in the review. I suppose it was changed too (old 6.80...

Look for XL2540K if you like BenQ.

Re: Question about 2546 and k
The video in your post above shows difference in motion blur reduction (DyAc vs ELMB).
Since you are not using any kind of strobe mode, I would recommend getting yourself a monitor with the highest refresh rate at moment - XV252QF (390Hz). 100$ are still a waste on xl2546k without DyAc enabled imo.

Re: Question about 2546 and k
No, definitely not worth it, especially if you play without DyAc.
As for the newer panel, I recommend to look at this one: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8580

Re: using the XL2540 @ 144Hz
As far as your custom resolution's "pixel clock" equal or close to 240Hz's (e.g. 594MHz), you should be fine

Re: using the XL2540 @ 144Hz
QFT? is it a new name for VT tweaking? which is done with toastyX CRU software? Yeah, I've had to use QFT aka VT tweak for lower Hz and resolutions while my xl2546 was around. Somehow I still miss it 😥 xl2540 should be better since you can set 240hz+FreeSync and forget about the rest; afaik you'll ...

For 144Hz on XL2540 use QFT or enable FreeSync (if available)

Re: VG259QM cant go 280HZ
It could be a cable, GPU, OS etc. I would recommend checking if 280Hz works on other PCs, otherwise RMA your panel.

Re: Server FPS max set to 250
I assume that the best option in this case would be Adaptive Sync
