Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

When my monitor is OC'd to 280 it's under PC 1080p and native in NCP, but at 240hz it's under Ultra HD SD etc but not native, is there a big difference and is there a simple way to make 240hz show up under PC and native I guess with CRU somehow(don't really know my way around that program)?

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

Just got my second PG259QN, either I'm super unlucky or the QC/panel is just trash, at least 4 lit pixels and 1 red one

Re: AOC AG273QZ pixel stuck in one color

I had quite a few monitors with lit and coloured pixels I tested this year and I could never fix any of them. Tried the rubbing and tapping and the pixel fixer programs for hours on and all combinations, never helped me.

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

I love this monitor but the slow alt-tabbing in some games and other weird issues get annoying, some games sets my 280hz in the montiors OSD to 144hz for no reason then I turn the monitor off and on and it's set to 60hz and I have to go to the Nvidia panel and set it to 280hz again. Never had an iss...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

Seems these 360hz monitors have some bad panels or we are just unlucky, I see others on Reddit too with weird panel issues, and mine that I just returned and ordered a replacement had the most lit pixels I've ever seen in my life

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

be sure to report back. hopefully your luck is better than mine. Got my PG259QN, as for the quality of it, it has some BLB spots but only noticable when my lights are off and brightness around 70+, it's worse than my 2 280hz Asus monitors I had but the brightness I play at and the lights in my room...

Re: Dell Alienware AW2521HF VS. ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN review by RTINGS

Looks like the Asus is faster but a bit of overshoot while the Dell has none, if you don't notice the Asus overshoot while gaming then it's almost 1ms quicker than the Dell. Thought you can put the Dell OD one higher and match the response time of the Asus but will have slightly worse overshoot than...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

I should be getting my PG259QN next week, hope it has no BLB, my 2 280hz Asus were pretty perfect, my Alienware was decent and Msi decent.

Do you play games with maximum brightness where blacks look like grey like in your photos? if not then do you notice the blacklight bleed when normally using the PC/playing games? if not then keep it. If it bothers you then return it.

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

Weird that with OC off 240hz is under PC in Nvidia's control panel but OC on 280hz is under the top Ulta/HD/SD section and is native.
