Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
@TwentyFoe Don't know what you mean by "inferior latency" but if that is "second-best" I agree with you (for now) ;) . The input lag of the new IPS screens is now also very low so I think the two techniques are approaching each other very closely Yes. While IPS has taken a step forward, so has the ...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
It's still a best-kept secret where the IPS color advantages makes enemy-identification faster, compensating for the tiny differentials between IPS and TN. (When a human reaction time becomes faster because of the better colors) No.... Come on, Chief. When you game, you stare directly at your monit...

Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
don't you mind strobe crosstalk though? Personally, I'm strobe-quality priority, so 120Hz strobing at 240Hz is massively better -- lower crosstalk than 120Hz strobing at 144Hz. Oh I am aware of this (because iirc you’ve mentioned it before), but I would first want to try 240Hz (coming from 144Hz. o...

Re: Best 240hz to buy rn?
Everything you ask has already been answered here and discussed in great length. Just read around. It’s kind of pointless to copy paste the same answers and anecdotes over and over again... Especially when they get asked almost every every single day.

Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
Mate, thank you, that video is gold I think i will stick with TN panels for sure after seeing this comparison Am going to do research on the newer(compared to the older XL2546 tn version on that video) 240hz tn panels I'm personally waiting for the XL2546 S Because you intend to use strobing? I wil...

Re: 1080p 144hz
I honestly don't think you should limit yourself! Picking up a 144Hz nowadays just because you currently cannot get past 144 FPS is honestly a waste. Your monitor will outlive your current build and stick with your for years to come, meaning that your PC hardware will see improvements and upgrades t...

Re: 25" 240Hz 1080p
for competition u don't need g-sync or blur reduction tech It depends on the game and you can't really say that. Sure you don't need g-sync for CSGO, because you can easily maintain stable 240FPS, but you sure as hell need g-sync for Fortnite, where the FPS is very unstable and changes significantl...

Re: XF252Q and XV253QX
If you're OK with 27" then the ViewSonic XG270 seems to be very well received. It's IPS 240Hz and apparently it's as good as the best TNs when it comes to motion clarity. Let's not spread misconceptions. In terms of motion clarity ViewSonic XG270 is as good as previous generation of best TNs panels...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S
I'm so sick and tired of these companies.... Why does the 27" always come first? Give us 24-25" for gaming, dammit! THAT IS THE ****ING TARGET AUDIENCE WITH 240Hz TN! I DON'T WANT A 27" MONITOR! As I previously speculated, companies' goal is to profit, so I feel like they opt to release 'new gen' mo...
