Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
I did some early impressions a few pages back. I think I'm about 2 weeks now with it and I've decided to switch full time to the XG2431 over the Omen 25X TN which is said to be one of the fastest 240hz TN. I've been comparing the two very closely over the past weeks. + My eyes strain is almost compl...

Re: Is it true that AMD Ryzen has a larger input lag?
Yes, it's true. AMD systems have higher input lag, but it's situational and I would argue it's pointless area of discussion for majority of gamers. Do you want to play with an uncapped FPS and no VRR (this is required)? If yes, you will gain slight advantage of 1-7ms difference with Intel from what ...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
For whatever reason, I reinstalled W11 and the colors of the displays have really improved. I didn't have any custom color profiles loaded or anything else that I think could interfere with the colors, so kind of odd. I was seeing gradient banding before in the W11 stock wallpapers, now it's smooth ...

Re: Looking for a crisp 1440p gaming Monitor
If you really want that crispy look to a display, I really recommend the highest PPI on the smallest screen you can find. I haven't looked around at monitors in a while, but they prob have something like 4k at <27". That's around <163.18 PPI, then pair that with something like a very bright IPS, you...

+ Great clarity for IPS, this truly feels like a TN panel in terms of responsiveness and motion clarity. Theoretically, If the Omen 25X was rated 10/10 on motion clarity, I'd give the Viewsonic a solid 9/10 and this is without touching PureXP. Seriously impressed here, this is easily much better tha...

Re: Fastest 240hz tn panel
KD25F, XF252Q and the Omen X25 (non F) I got my omen x 25. And in my opinion it is slower than the 2540k or 2546k panel (same). Sometimes it seems to me that I can see blur on the omen, with overdrive 3 (while the artifacts of the corona are noticeable), although it may be due to the terrible pixel...

Re: Do these “Regedit Tweaks” really do something?
Majority of the optimization guides people have to clue what they're doing on a ton of settings, including me. They're just copy/pasting what's been repeated in other optimization guides from years past. The entire scene is full of plagiarism and everyone essentially copy/pasting old guides. There i...

Re: eSports 1440p 360hz displays announced
Slight OT: in the presentation nvidia claimed that 27" 1440p improved accuracy by 3% compared to 24" 1080p in their FPS aim tester program. What do you guys think about this? Perhaps there is truth to it, or perhaps they're just trying to move more people towards 1440p and therefore need a higher e...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
There's finally a review for the XG2431! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOgs15DmGqU What does he mean by Rank 1 in the title? It's almost funny he claims it as a "rank 1" monitor, yet has like two 240hz reviews <25" in a market of like 20+. Still seems like a good product, so I'll be giving it a s...

@yehaw You really like to win arguments, right? Why are you coming in so defensive? Win an argument with who? My original post, I didn't even quote or reply to anyone. I also find it funny going to your posts, your last posts were on a topic of using an fps cap to make the game feel and look smooth...
