Re: Problem with blur reduction VT trick

Single strobe is the same thing as "allow customization of blur reduction" in the windows utility (allowing changes in strobe duty/phase). you MAY be able to change the phase and duty with single strobe set off through the service menu, but making ANY change in the windows utility automatically sets...

Re: Problem with blur reduction VT trick

Yes, set that 100 to 003 and then the problem is fixed.
Setting the phase that high causes a black screen. This usually happens after a flash and for some reason the # gets set to 100 improperly.

Re: Problem with blur reduction VT trick

Make sure youre using the toastyx pixel clock patcher for amd/NVidia. Also, the VT tweaks do not work at 144 hz. The 1350 and 1502 VT tweaks do work at 100 and 120hz (you need the pixel clock patcher for the 1502 tweak to work). Also make sure that if you flashed your monitor, that strobe phase/duty...

Re: Just got the benq XL2411Z. What do I do now?

Glad you found something that works well for you. Unless it's daylight and I can't control the lighting, I like the 1.0ms persistence setting (since I'm using VT 1502). The motion quality is outstanding, and definitely brings back the 100 hz CRT feel. Yes there's ghosting you can see on sharp high c...

Re: Just got the benq XL2411Z. What do I do now?

Those TFT tweaks are ONLY for standard use of the monitor (no blur reduction). Using blur reduction on REQUIRES brightness to be set to 100%. (lightboost is the same way, except you don't see/can't adjust the brightness settings). VT 1502 lessens the size of the thick crosstalk band (or increases th...

Re: Just got the benq XL2411Z. What do I do now?

Definitely use the VT 1502 tweak at 100 and 120hz. Both work fine. They also increase the brightness slightly, which really helps if you want to use the VERY nice 1.0ms persistence (better than lightboost's 1.4ms 10%), or you want to go all out with the 0.5ms "no motion blur here, folks" dark settin...

Re: 1502VT trick/resolutions problem?

the thing is, it really looks like my csgo ia running 60hz but capping fps with vsync goes to 120 so im fucked confused What video card are you using? I think you're having the 'stuttering' issue with vsync on. AMD card, right? This has NOTHING to do with the benq. I had this happen on my OLD CRT o...

Re: If "Money is no concern" what's the best 27" for PC Gami

For all-around "Better Than 60Hz" experience where money is no object, I would recommend the ASUS ROG PG278Q, with great motion handling and low lag at higher resolutions. Going IPS can produce better color quality, but entails rather severe compromises relating to fast motion handling, depending o...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

Isn't the Eizo Foris simply a cut down version of their $4,000 professional panel, anyway?
Have you even tried to buy one of those things for testing? Surely you could afford one and write up a review....

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

Vega, the numbers are In the service menu. The lowest stobe persistence setting you can set through the blur busters' utility is 0.5ms. This is also the lowest possible strobe setting where you can realistically still have the screen bright enough to have a decent gaming experience in pitch black at...
