You choose 240Hz+ULMB for better because <1 ms persistence time at 240Hz+ULMB while 360Hz without ULMB = 2.8 ms persistence time.
But ULMB does not work 360Hz? :/ It's not normal for NVIDIA or for brand monitor.

Re: ASUS PG259QN hack for single-strobe ULMB 50 Hz and ULMB 60 Hz
Would be nice if we could combine 2160p resolution with 60hz single strobe. Did anyone try it and was successfull? I have tried nvidia control panel and toasty, but cant get an output if I set resolution to 2160p. Atm I use Nvidia's DSR to get 2160p internal resolution but I can't hold 144hz for UL...

Re: BenQ MBR, ULMB or Lightboost ?
If you want console games or retrogames, you get the IPS monitor with ULMB HACK for 60fps single-strobe + very good color quality but it may cost high price. Do you forget this?
--> But ATTENTION you have NVIDIA videocard for hack ULMB.

Re: BenQ MBR, ULMB or Lightboost ?
ULMB (NVIDIA) has replaced LightBoost (NVIDIA) in 2015. LightBoost (LB) has WELL discontinued since 2015 because ULMB is motion clearer than LB. LOL

Re: It's a shame that plasma tech is dead
Monochrome CRT's had theoretically infinite resolution. There were some CRT Projectors with enough of a high scanrate to push 4K too and those had no masks(since they were not projectors) so they didn't have the mask issue but they were still limited compared to Monochrome. While we're linking stuf...

Re: It's a shame that plasma tech is dead
Not true - the motion clarity is not incredible on any plasma TV. We get motion blur without high Hz sub-field. At 60Hz, BenQ XL2411P is much better motion clarity on than any plasma TV (not monochrome plasma monitor).

Re: Asus VG259QM 240hz 10bit trick not working
If you say "30-bit color depth", unfortunately this doesn't support your monitor (up to only 16.8 million colors). But try any CRT monitor for work 30-bit color - we remember infinite colors.

Do you like ASUS 360Hz IPS with ULMB -> https://rog.asus.com/monitors/23-to-24- ... 9qn-model/, if you need NVIDIA GeForce videocard for access to ULMB?

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options
Never tested the XL2411 XL2411 could be different i don't know. I had XL2411P but I sold it in past june for the lack of firmware. 60Hz + strobe was very good for almost no motion blur and good minimum crosstalk but 50 Hz is bad. - watch my video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZYWJdCaKjw ;) Bu...
