xl2540 input latency possible sync problem?
A recent interview by a dutch website called hardware.info reviewed the xl2540 and they tested it for input latency. https://nl.hardware.info/reviews/7148/9/benq-zowie-xl2735-en-xl2540-review-gaming-monsters-gaming-responstijd-en-inputlag. They also experienced it had a bit higher input latency at t...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
I see respawn.ninja has uploaded their review about the xl2540. The monitor is a bit slower at the same frequency then the xl2420g (1 frame behind at 144hz). Bit of a shame I had hoped it would not have that problem although it will be very minor at 240hz I guess.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
I agree that monitor can have high input lag compared to other monitors but all I wanna say there is no real big reasons in increasing it. Fair enough I don't expect that either but you can never be sure of that. And I am interested in the response time of these new panels because that will most li...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Can you name 144Hz monitors with high or bad input lag? High and bad can be a lot of things. The 34" ultra wide 200hz monitors have twice the input lag of my xb270hu. That is 8ms total vs 4ms total latency (input lag + response time). Doesn't mean they have bad latency. The eizo fg2421 has 14 ms of...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Probably the same as all the other Benqs, it's not like they do anything new with the technology. It's not even out yet, you will probably have to wait for tftcentral for any real results. "They" did do something new. The panel is just out of production and it is the first commercially available mo...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Does anyone know what the input latency and response time is like on the xl2540. I am kind of interested in buying one but I wanna know these two things first before I am going to do that. Still cannot find any reviews about it on the internet.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
If I were into super competetive gaming, I'd definitely "sacrifice" <1 frame of additional input lag for the huge benefit of greatly reduced motion blur. Ye but you are not a super competitive gamer so how would you know what these guys actually prefer. I am not claiming I am either but every perso...

Re: Looking to buy my first 120-144hz monitor - Need advice
Just so you know there are 240hz monitors just around the corner. There is already one which you can buy the benq xl2540 but its like 500 euro/dollar. I would wait a bit if I were you worst case all monitors are going to be around that price range. But I am willing to bed a couple will be a bit chea...

Re: Techradar - Asus ROG Swift PG258Q "review"
Tbh even though I have an nvidia card I would totally grab the aoc if the input lag is virtually zero and overdrive is working decently. The first time I tried out 120hz I was amazed by it. It will probably be the same thing as going to 240hz. Even though 99% of the internet seems to disagree on tha...

xb270hu overclockable to 180hz
Hello guys I managed to overclock my acer xb270hu to 180hz when running at either 800x600 or 1024x768. And I was wondering what causes this as these two resolutions are the only two resolutions where it is possible. I tested it for frame skipping with testufo and the results show it does not skip an...
