Re: Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?

I used to believe Ryzen input lag was caused by poor scheduler optimization by Windows, but actually the Input Lag 100% comes from DWM. I chased DPC latency for 5 years and it turns out none of that shit mattered; I practically lived on Roach's guide and you can still see me on that thread today. ht...

Re: I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHING MY INPUT LAG!

I've gotten this far. It's too late for me now. I've found almost every possible tweak there is. This final tweaks goes down to the root core of the problem. Everything else is just Icing on the cake.

Re: I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHING MY INPUT LAG!

I don't see why you can't just install windows 7, disable dwm, and go on with your life, trying to tame windows 10 is futile. After a few years, or several, try using linux, it keeps getting better and better for gaming every passing year. You dont need to update Windows 7. You can just use it in i...

Re: I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHING MY INPUT LAG!

I wish you guys would read through my post before writing. I've been through everything already. Literally everything from changing power cords to ram timings to ipconfig tweaks. This sounds like pure placebo really. If FSO is working correctly, i doubt anyone can discern the difference vs 'real' ex...

Re: Desktop window manager's affect on input latency

Haha fr33thy. Yeah that guy looks alright but I doubt he has much clue onto what most of his tweaks do and what side effects they can give. Yeah he has a lot of good information mixed in with misinformation LOL. I tried his HPET guide before, and it's confusing as shit. He didn't even organize his ...

Re: I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHING MY INPUT LAG!

Now let's ask ourselves if pros use builds that have the same input lag. Are they blind to it or just used to it? That's a great answer only they can provide. I personally have great input lag memory from even when I was gaming as a kid at 4 years old. I can tell the difference between when an Emul...

I'M SO CLOSE TO FINISHING MY INPUT LAG!

So a bit about my journey, I made an input lag guide about it that you could read over there. https://community.amd.com/message/2958691 It's very outdated compared to the plethora of information I obtained in the past week. Also note I now have a 3900x Build with x570 and 5700xt . I initially though...

Re: Windows 10 DWM Priority

I wanna say thank you so much for this thread Fluffy. It helped me out immensely. My 3 year search is getting closer to ending!

Is there no permanent way to keep it this way? I have to restart DWM.exe everytime I want good input lag? Linux really is better for gaming because of this..
