Re: ULMB 2 Released

I want to add to this post that I have gotten ULMB 2 to work on an AMD Radeon GPU How to Open CRU click edit at the top then uncheck "Include if slot available" at the bottom Very interesting! What AMD gpu do u have? Can G-SYNC (VRR) be enabled/disabled in AMD panel or is it detected as "Not Suppor...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!

I am very curious if the ULMB2 will darken the TN panel unlike how DYAC does NOT darken the screen on Zowies latest panels. I returned the PG27AQN cause the screen gets darker with ULMB2 activated. DyAc Premium vs ULMB 2 at 100 should be similar according to reviews. I'd assume brightness will prob...

Re: LG 27gp850-B HUGE Ghosting problems

ok but why i havent had this before? Playing games since 20 years... Are 27GP850 and MAG274QRF your first high refresh rate monitors? Because that might explain why u didn't notice the effect before. At 60Hz the distance between each frame/image in stroboscopic effect is wider compared to high refr...

Re: "TN is obsolete. Don't go TN. Stay away from TN." Is this true, or is the guy on CSGO subreddit talking out of his a

Had this one lying around. Maybe it helps. CAD Max Hz, Best OD.png CAD data of some older monitors Hardware/Monitors Unboxed reviewed are not published. I would assume HP Omen X 27 (240 TN) is somewhere around CAD 370 and PG259QN (first gen 360 IPS) around CAD 400. For those who don't know CAD (Cumu...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]

RTINGS tracking accuracy looks ok for XL2566K and XG2431, XL2546K is a bit off imo. There are many only-acceptable and some unacceptable pursuits I ran into (e.i. XG270 PureXP). Here are some comparisons from old post. Notice the pattern size differences for 1080p and 1440p resolutions, sync track s...

Feel free to modify or delete the post if u're not ok with it. I am not in control of peoples pursuit quality. I doubt people know, but when comparing different camera pursuits all you want to look for (and avoid) are motion artifacts such as ghosting, inverse ghosting, double imaging, inverse doubl...

Re: Need some advices for new monitor purchase

I'll comment on the VRR strobing part. All current implementations still use PWM fill to compensate brightness in VRR operation. The lower the frame rate the more PWM fill there is. Meaning it will work well only for frame rates fluctuating about 20% below input refresh rate (e.i down to ∼200fps at ...

Aah I see. I just couldn't figure out from your wording if u really thought you're getting real 4k or if it was something of this nature.

However I don't know why not max Hz.
