Re: Why do Pro gamers not use G-Sync?
Without remembering the specific details, I essentially read that it has to do with the mouse cursor itself being drawn in a way that allows G-Sync to affect it / not affect it. Which is why the mousefeel swings so much and also why it feels terrible @ lower Hz. No, -- that was a separate topic. Th...

Re: Why do Pro gamers not use G-Sync?
However, the mousefeel will vary from game to game. In some cases, mousefeel may for example feel better with VSYNC OFF for CS:GO but feel better with G-SYNC for PUBG. But your mileage will vary. What info extra do you have on mousefeel and g-sync? Without remembering the specific details, I essent...

Re: Gaming VPN Experiences Thread [Help Internet Lag]
I don't have much time right now to go into detail, but I quickly wanted to pass by and state; For pure competitive gaming reasons, utilizing a VPN is almost always going to introduce some sort of problem to your connection as a trade-off regardless of you getting a better route or overall less raw ...

Re: You guys are my last hope for fixing my problem
Just for the sake of discussion I figured I would post my friend Ashr's comment he made on another forum relating to this issue. He does not post very much these days about this issue as he is the one and only person that seems to have permanently fixed it (full mitigation of symptoms, we still hav...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
I have heard 10x more complaints for the PG259Q's (some QN's) than the alienware aw2521H. I'm pretty sure you can get the AW2521H for cheaper often as well due to the $669-710 deals from time to time on dell's site. The complaints might also just be because more people got the PG's as figuring out w...

Re: Asus Rog XG248Q - G sync On and no DP signal
Sounds a lot like mode switch happening puts signal out due to some resolution/refresh rate combo. If you were to create a new resolution through nvidia control panel with the max refresh rate of the monitor on automatic at 1920x1079 and choose "no scaling" on GPU in "adjust desktop size and positio...

Re: G-Sync Stops Working After Gaming For 3 Hours - Requires Computer Restart
The only think that fix it is PC restart but its only temporary for 1-3h You can download CRU (Custom Resolution Utility 1.5 or 1.4.2) and use restart64/restart. It will be the same as if you did a PC restart, but a quick 5-10 seconds monitor going black. I assume there's another way of doing this,...

Well, I'm under NDA so without revealing anything that's not already known. I would actually encourage sharing your findings to fuel community discussion and the feedback loop. The NDA is really only in place to stop people from doing teardowns/reverse engineering and releveling any specific "trade...

Re: Optimization Hub for beginners
Most of the 500-vs-1000 benefits is not the input lag. It's the fluidity. At 5000 pixels/sec mouse movement, 500Hz is one coordinate every 10 pixels. At 5000 pixels/sec mouse movement, 1000Hz is one coordinate every 5 pixels. These clearly become stroboscopically visible, and this continues to be s...
