AFAIK 360hz TN panels don't exist, it's all IPS.
They could OC existing AUO 0.5ms (3ms) response time 240hz panels to 280 (monitors like this exist from other brands), but I doubt they'd bother.
They're probably waiting for 480hz TNs, but that's prolly multiple years away at this point.

Re: Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?
Wow. What a thread. People basically claiming the reason they aren't a pro gamer is because they have an AMD CPU and not an Intel CPU. .............. No one claimed any of that in this thread, at least not to my knowledge. We're simply discussing an input lag related topic that is interesting for u...

Re: Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?
Very interesting! Thanks for posting. Yeah, I tend to forget how everything changes from build to build when it comes to latency. There's just so many variables (sample-to-sample variances in each component of the PC), plus the differences we're trying to measure are so small, that this is bound to ...

Re: Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?
I've read the posts on this threads and done some researches and it looks like old Intel CPUs (like a i9 9900k) have lower input lag and lower memory latency. With the new 12th gen, it appeared on some reviews that this new generation suffers from higer memory latency. Somehow will this impact on t...

Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak
Haven't upgraded from my XL2540, as there isn't a monitor from BenQ which I would consider to be a sizeable upgrade from it. Yeah, the faster response times on the XL2546K are nice, but I prefer the older version stand on my 2540, and the money I have left by not upgrading. After trying many monitor...

@yehaw You really like to win arguments, right? That's alright. Except this isn't the place to do it. This forum has a different atmosphere, let's keep it that way please. We are here to try and learn, and aslo to stay objective. You are making baseless, nonsensical and simply untrue claims like: "w...

Re: Locked FPS stability question in Source engine games
Also, for some reason 250 fps locked feels much smoother, with less tearing than 300 on CS and Quake. Maybe it might be due to Asynchronicity-Induced jitters being reduced when using a mouse with a polling rate that is a multiple of the fps that the engine is producing (250*4=1000hz), 1 every 4 pol...

Re: Locked FPS stability question in Source engine games
I found out afterwards that the reason for this was me disabling HPET in BIOS. It should be enabled there and disabled in windows, that's the ideal combo, not the other way around. Also, for some reason 250 fps locked feels much smoother, with less tearing than 300 on CS and Quake. You might think i...

Re: Why does Display port and HDMI feel so different?
I tried two DP cables on my XL2540, and I also had the aw2518HF.
Same experience on both of them... HDMI felt more snappy.
I have a few guesses why, but no proof.
