Re: Alienware OLED Monitor - 4K/120 Hz 55" DP 1.4

Re: Alienware OLED Monitor - 4K/120 Hz 55" DP 1.4

Any word on the input lag for this thing? Would it be faster than other LG TVs despite having the same panel?

Re: How do OLEDs with/without BFI compare to gaming monitors

So if someone were sensitive to backlight strobing, an OLED without BFI but with low input lag would be about as good or better (due to image quality) than a fast TN gaming monitor without strobing?

How do OLEDs with/without BFI compare to gaming monitors?

Do you think that the motion clarity with BFI enabled on the upcoming Alienware OLED monitor will be "good enough" for competitive gaming if the input lag is low?

Re: Why I'm done with 240hz

I would totally dismiss the RGB lightning, just like you! But I doin´t use strobing aswell because my eyes don´t let me do so. I don´t like the input lag increase anyway, but my eyes start screaming at me in 20 minutes usage. I´m too sensitive to flickering and I´m very worried about health in the ...

Re: XL2546 vs. LG 27GK750F-B vs. xg248q and a few questions

bumping this thread because I had the same question about which monitor is best? which of these three has the best strobe based blur reduction? which of these three has the best panel image quality with strobe based blur reduction on? which of these three has the best contrast ratio and brightness w...

Re: Sensitivity to PWM = sensitivity to DyAc?

Okay interesting. I'll try playing on the Samsung TV first and see how it goes.

320cd/m^2 doesn't seem awfully bright, but IDK. My phones and tablets go to 500 easy

Re: Sensitivity to PWM = sensitivity to DyAc?

Anecdotally over the years, with many coming to us about display ergonomic quirks, it's a more complicated question than expected. It depends on if your PWM sensitivity is from PWM artifacts or from PWM flicker itself. Sensitivity to PWM flicker That's the direct sensitivity to flicker itself. Stro...
