Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
Have you ever thought of building your own "Faraday Cage" around your PC to shield it from EMI? what if the EMI is not air-borne but travelling via the power cables into the motherboard? to me this seems more possible and probable cause, at least for most users in urban enviroments ... Faraday Cage...

Re: Potential HD Mouse Extensions API Specification [ETA by 2025]
Chief Blur Buster, is there a reason why you don't want to push for nano-second accurate TimeStamps instead of Micro-second accurate? I do concur that all the TimeStamping and Floating Point Calculations should be done Sensor/Device side and cast into "int" at the very end, that's the correct step t...

Since 8 kHz is the official "Upper Limit" of USB Polling based on the smallest possible Micro-Frame Packet Time Interval allowed via USB standard. Check out my proposal: High Definition Mouse Extensions API This optionally decouples USB poll from sensor rate, while relaying the whole sensor rate to...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
So as monitor refresh technology progress past 360 Hz, would you lean closer to the 4x, or higher to the 6x, or just recommend an ever increasing mouse polling ratio to 10x? Personally, I'd keep it constant. If you're using 6x, then when upgrading 360Hz to 720Hz monitors, when come out someday, the...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
What's the minimum ratio that you recommend for Mouse Polling : Display Refresh Rate? About 4x-6x. That's why I recommend 2000Hz poll for 360Hz monitors. Some can feel issues even when the ratio is 10x+, telling a minor difference between 4000Hz poll and 8000Hz poll, but there's very fast diminishi...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
Just tested it last night again. This is on BOTH my XL2720Z and XL2746S. Mouse: Logitech G903, 1000hz. 100hz: glass smooth turning 120hz: not glass smooth: almost like there is some sort of strange frame sync issue of some sort (not tearing, almost like a strange hitching as if something were sligh...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
They're just units made up by humans to quantify time. An oscillator doesn't care about how humans interpret its clock intervals. For example, something oscillating 3 times per minute could be written as every 0.3333... minutes or every 20 seconds. Telling it "you are now ticking every 1/3 minutes ...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
I think the 240hz/360hz problem is amplified on 1000hz mice because 1000hz mice already look terrible at 120hz while they look perfect at 125hz. And since 240hz and 360hz are even multiples of 120, well, there you go. Did anyone test a 1000hz mouse at 250hz? which problem u referring to? never felt...
