Re: Asus 240hz native new screen

You can get less lag at the same framerate. This is because 240fps capped on older GTX 700-series (e.g. 4ms rendertimes) have slightly more lag than 240fps capped on GTX 1060 thru GTX 1080 (e.g. 1ms rendertimes). Huh unless the game uses a lot of buffering I dont think that will happen if frame tim...

Re: Asus 240hz native new screen

I don't have a 680 though! I have a 760, I can sell this on ebay and get the 750 which is actually cheaper !(and presumably a lower spec) just seems weird to me that the 750 is supported but not the '60! I believe the 760 and 770 are based on the kepler gpu's from the previous generation. Meaning t...

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!

Nothing seems to work for the xb270hu with firmware version 1. Think its because it does not support 3d vision and therefore no lightboost. If I use the vertical total +5 trick it actually turns off ulmb while in the correct refresh rate.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

Did you adjust the od-gain setting in the factory menu (press button 4+5 during startup) to see if that helps decrease the amount of inversion artifacts? I can see the issue on your photo but I cant reproduce that on my own monitor as well with the same settings. I do see a small amount of flickerin...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

Really is that what double strobing is I thought it was just leftover from the previous frame because the pixels are not fast enough to change back. My other monitor (xb270hu) does that as well in ulmb mode. Thought all monitors with blur reduction looked like this. I hardly notice that effect in ga...

does this settings stick btw?
It sticks if you dont turn off the monitor or plug the power. With sleep it will save the settings.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

it was high, but BR is not good thing for me. I just dont understand why BeNQ just does not put "AMA Low" option? this would make this monitor so much better. I get inverse trails after moving objects even if i move browser window a little bit in windows. http://i.imgur.com/WqQC6Vj.jpg - and this i...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

Any suggestions? http://i.imgur.com/kSmmmhe.jpg V1 Firmware, 240Hz blur reduction is ON, area 30, photo of middle of screen. (AMA High). Should i try making lower Hz resolution to get rid of this ghosting? Did you put overdrive (ama) to high or premium? I get some nasty inverse ghosting if I set it...
