Re: Raster "Interrupts" / Beam Racing on GeForces/Radeons!
edit: the more I think about it, the video card can continue streaming the front buffer over the wire. it wouldn't resend the whole frame upon present(). the display shouldn't buffer anyways The problem is that when the graphics card is artisting the image, it doesn't draw the scene from top to bot...

Today, we still use "phosphors". Like your glow-in-dark toy, except they fade in milliseconds. Almost all the world's LED lightbulbs are blue LEDs with phosphors to add other colors (reds/greens) to create the white light. Phosphor in LED light bulbs and displays, are not too different in science fr...

Thanks for the clarification, Chief. Re: The 480Hz Tour De Force, Chef's Masterpiece: 480HZ OLED PURSUIT CAMERA
Can anyone hypothesize what the input lag would look like w/ 240hz ELMB? Could it still be competitive in esports? Assuming it’d be much better than 120hz ELMB. I estimate the chnace for it to be a problem at 0,00%. 120Hz backlight strobing is already OK with v-sync OFF. 120Hz backlight strobing is...

Antiglare coatings are often one of over 100+ ergonomic issues that exists with displays -- sometimes much bigger than other causes for some people. Glossy versus antiglare, can also be one of those ergonomic double edged swords, depending on the person.

so the whole discussion is kind of a lost cause" That's for the OP to decide; not you. Every monitor has some type of pros and cons but he doesn’t want to make any compromises on any type of drawbacks + wants glossy on top of that aka a virtually impossible task (no, he doesn’t like OLED either) RE...

i was considering buying this monitor until a i read a recent thread here on this forum, where someone said that when using the best antiblur modes the brightness of the monitor was too low to be usable. they claimed like 50 or less nits iirc were their measurements accurate or was that just their ...

I'd rather have slow panels that don't destroy your eyes than fast panels you can't even look at. I just wanted to inform you that some of our forum members have contacted me to complain about this behavior of your derailing forum threads on Blur Busters Forums with excessive mentions of eyestrain ...
