Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

@paddyhhh
Have you enabled option "Picture/Max Brigthness/ON" ?

My config is 390Hz, Freesync, Radeon Antilag, 384 ingame cap. I hate CHILL.

I dont understand your problem missing shots, for me in fast moves ( flicks ) all are more focused.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

All these options makes it not easier to order the right new monitor. Can't decide between this new xv252qf or Asus 360hz/AlienWare2521H. From what I see it's all the same panel but acer has the OC option to 390hz. I also have never played with any strobing technique and mainly only played around w...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

@michaelcycle00 I always play VRR with 384 fps cap. Doom 2016 ( 200 fps engine cap ) and Doom Eternal ( 250fps-384fps ) are a pleasure with this monitor. @reffp With VRR OD is activated by default at normal mode ( not disabled ). Beware the hype xd. In general IMO is a bit better than VG279QM 280Hz ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

Just saw it. Wat da hek is AOPEN FireLegend lol? And check out the slightly different name 25 XV 2Q F vs XV 252Q F. This Aopen is also cheaper at $450, $400 on sale he says. That is just insane. He didn't say anything about overdrive being disabled with freesync. Could it be that this one has it? I...

960 ufo test bug (390Hz) is correct, at 1080 it has a bit more trails and a bit less sharp.
So were previous videos taken on bugged 960 or 1080pps? Does it move slower than at 360Hz like VisorizoR said?
Videos were taken at 960 390Hz, slower than 960 360Hz.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

I did some research, compared bunch of ufos and their ghosting trails. This is roughly where XV252QF should land on Hardware Unboxed list. The positioning should be correct, but correct me if I'm wrong. https://i.ibb.co/G0Qhh11/XV252-QF-HUB-positioning.png I can't tell you just looking at the numbe...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Getting constant 390 fps will be quite hard and fps games usually want least input lag so most will probably use no vrr as well as no blur reduction. How would acer 390hz compare to 360hzs in pure raw performance so no vrr or ulmb.
At 390Hz perfomance is the same VRR on or off, bei...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

s 1/60s, OD normal in both photos. VRB Extreme, I like more normal without crosstalk but increases brightness and the image is burnt.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

Brightness 0. It is not possible with this mobile to take videos that reflect reality, at least for me. It doesn't even come close.
