Re: Advantages of high refreshrates?

Why doesnt it matter? You will get less input lag and better motion clarity. But seeing an enemy 10ms faster still requires someone to react to that change. I just dont see how that is possible. I just reacted to what nVIDIA is claiming here. "See your enemy earlier" which i doubt anyone will do go...

Re: Optimal settings for modern warfare?

Why you suggest v3 limiter? I tried it both on laptop with gtx950m and pc 1070ti - this method give tearing and stutters. I only suggested it over legacy Nvidia Inspector v1 and v2 FPS limiting methods, which were never officially available, and have higher input lag than other external FPS limitin...

Re: V-Sync ON/OFF when FPS < max Hz (+VRR)

This question was most likely answered many times but I can't find the answers... I have a 240Hz monitor and I play a game that has a 200 FPS limiter. For the lowest input lag, do I use only VRR or VRR + V-Sync + RTSS? V-Sync isn't activated so there shouldn't be any need for it, right? For V-SYNC ...

Re: Utterly confused with my G-SYNC display

I know, but frames seem to fluctuate without any problems. I have variable frames like 45-60, 60-80, 80-120, and there are no frame locks. Turns out standard in-game V-SYNC handles variable frames just fine. Again, standard V-SYNC is much less of an issue at higher-than-60Hz, but for those sensitiv...

Re: Utterly confused with my G-SYNC display

My time for returning this monitor is almost over, I have 28 days to return products purchased online where I live, so that's about it :) Ah. Of course, it's a shock that lasts for some time, then brain gets used to this goodness and switching back to 60 Hz feels like dying  Yeah, once you get...

Re: GSYNC lowest input lag i can get for competitive

I don't like utilizing G-SYNC, I feel the input delay on my game, and I've since stayed off it, it just didn't feel good to me. Some people are more prone to notice input delays, but in Apex it is pretty easy to test the delay by doing something called a bunny hop, with G-SYNC on it became signific...

Re: Optimal settings for modern warfare?

Also Im not sure we can use Ultra Low latency feature, because COD MW is dx12 game, anyone can confirm? If COD MW runs in DX12, correct, LLM settings will have no effect; DX12 and Vulkan games handle the pre-rendered frames queue themselves. UPDATE: Try using this setting in Nvidia Profile ...

Re: Utterly confused with my G-SYNC display

As for Normal overdrive and ghosting, I'll give you a little tip; 165Hz overdrive is slightly worse on this panel than 144Hz . Downclock and try again. TFT Central tested this on this panel (not model) and found that 165Hz has slightly slower GtG than 144Hz, so I use 144Hz myself, because, while sl...

Re: Utterly confused with my G-SYNC display

According to that review, the PG279Q uses an M270Q008 V0 panel but the XB271HU which is the one OP have (and i believe you also do) have an M270DAN02.3 panel - https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xb270hu.htm#panel - which is the same as the ViewSonic XG2703-GS - https://pcmonitors.info/review...

Re: Utterly confused with my G-SYNC display

I thought that we should always use max refresh rate when GSYNC is on?! AFAIK i have the same panel (viewsonic xg2703-gs) and i use 165hz. Should i just go back to 144hz and keep OC disabled? This monitor doesn't have any Overdrive setting, just Response Time (Normal, Advanced & Ultra Fast) which i...
