1080p resolution at 27" is pretty big.
Personally, 1080p at 25" is the limit for me, but to each their own.
If I went 27" I'd want at least 1440p for the higher res image on desktop.
I don't like my Windows UI to be so big.

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
He specifically says it's IPS, so where are you getting TN from? Not to mention this little or should I say GIGANTIC info panel on his twitch page: https://imgur.com/a/OmF6jlk And the product page: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gn750-b-gaming-monitor So he claims he'll set it up tomorrow. I p...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
Nonsense, 27" is perfectly fine at 1080p, it's a 8 dpi difference which = 2" further back. In exchange you don't have to squint and be up your monitors ass like with a 25". That depends on your opinion. And my opinion is that 27" is too big for 1080p. But my point is, the LG he was given is not an ...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
It seems he's just advertising it to his stream but I saw him sticking with the BenQ Zowie XL2546 for his actual daily driver for gaming lol!! Not a good look for IPS or LG in that regard: https://clips.twitch.tv/ShakingDeafFungusEleGiggle You do know the monitor he was given was a 27" TN 1080p, ri...

Re: Acer Predator XN253QX - Your Thoughts
I bought this for £379, a great buy IMO considering it is full G-Sync module and it's using the new TN panel. I have come from a Dell U2410 IPS panel and bought this for gaming. Of course, it exhibits the usual TN issues, but they seem to be far less pronounced, it's the best TN panel I've ever seen...

Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
There's also the Acer Predator XB253QGP and a 240Hz variant coming soon.
This is a good resource, you can see the upcoming 240Hz IPS monitors under "AUO IPS Panels". https://www.displayninja.com/new-monitors/

The viewing angles are so bad at 24" let alone 27"!

Re: 1080p 144hz
I emailed Acer Support: "Good Afternoon, Thank you for contacting us. I have checked but cannot yet see any release information for a variant of this monitor with an IPS panel @ 240Hz currently unfortunately. In regards to your query on the different, the Predator range is our higher end range of ga...

Re: 1080p 144hz
Yeah, I would prefer to see some real response times before making my mind up on that. Historically, I'm pretty sure the Predator line are more expensive than the Nitro line. Predator models had different panels (I think), better stands and G-Sync. Nitro models had FreeSync and terrible stands. I kn...
