Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It
I thought that you'll get screen tearing when going over monitor refresh rate. Since tearing is triggering me, I always cap my FPS. But I now heard that tearing is negligible when having very high FPS and it will also affect input latency in a positive way. Is that true? See: https://blurbusters.co...

Re: Micro stutters in old games vs. overkill PC
This is so weird to me and I have ran out of ideas how to test and fix this crap. First time in my life I see anything like it As I've already shared, stutter is more "normal" than not, even for legacy games, else there wouldn't be thread after thread across the internet with people complaining abo...

Re: should I cap 360hz down to 240hz for games i can't run at a consistent 240hz?
I recently bought a 360hz panel and it is great for games that can run it at that speed bit for more demanding titles such as games that would run around 240fps I'm wondering if I should cap it at 240hz when I play those titles, and if I did cap it would it make motion clarity clearer or have no di...

Interesting; effectively an Nvidia hardware-level version of ELMB-sync.

Re: Micro stutters in old games vs. overkill PC
Yes, when you start a new chapter and go towards the red barn there is at least 1 stutter in the area in tunnels if speeding through (area from my screenshot). Forgot to mention that I also use max settings @ 4k and 120 fps lock. You asked if I got stutter during the two jumps after the red barn, w...

Re: Micro stutters in old games vs. overkill PC
No matter how much stuff game engine does in the background or how terrible code is, any modern CPU definitely is capable of calculating that within 16 ms and even way, way less. Many older open-world games had a 30 FPS framerate target at the time (including GTA:VC, I believe), so the streaming sy...

Re: Experiencing ghosting with OLED?
Do you recommend gsync on or off for more clarity, specifically on the OLED panel. Seen threads online stating they turned gsync off as the old is "fast enough" etc. Any tips? G-SYNC does not directly affect motion clarify, it prevents tearing for framerates within the refresh rate without introduc...

Re: Experiencing ghosting with OLED?
I’m not fully sure if it is white trailing ghosting I am experiencing, it just seems blurry and ghosting overall. I know the videos I posted aren’t the best quality, I did try my best to capture the blurriness but it seems it doesn’t translate to a video. We're going in circles now, so all I can sa...

Re: Micro stutters in old games vs. overkill PC
Frametime spikes still exist in older games, and can be caused by things like asset-streaming and auto saves, which aren't always performance-related, but engine-limited, hence no matter how overkill your PC is, those will typically remain. That said, one thing you can do with an Nvidia GPU is ensu...
