That's nuts, is this monitor available in Canada? Couldn't find it on Amazon.ca, nor shopbot.ca nor canadacomputers.com nor newegg.ca

Re: Visiting CES 2018
Really wish there was more advancement with regards to the gaming screens. Right now I'm daily'ing the Asus PG258Q monitor and I'd have to sum it up as being all around 'average'. The saving grace is that it runs at 240hz which is the only reason I'm using it over other monitors. I can't wait to rep...

Re: Visiting CES 2018
Thanks! The Nvidia powered 65" TV sure sounds like fun and is something I'd eventually get however it's the 25/27" screens at 240hz (and above) that I'm curious about!

Re: ASUS XG258Q vs BenQ ZOWIE XL2546
Update: Oh, I feel silly! I just checked the price and realize you already know they aren't Gsync. They should be very similar and I can only speak for the PG258Q monitor however the in-menu configuration is fairly good. If they are using anything similar to ULMB then it should be perfectly fine. Th...

Re: ASUS XG258Q vs BenQ ZOWIE XL2546
Both monitors should be fairly equivalent in terms of performance (Fairly sure they use the same panel) and the major differences will be price, design, aftermarket calibration/features done by BenQ and Asus. I was already familiar with the Asus menu (I enjoyed the native crosshair and had a good ex...

My video review of the Asus PG258Q 240hz vs 144hz
So a while back I made a long post about comparing aiming performance with regards to monitors... and I finally made a video about it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtGKyP46TYE I sit down and compare: Asus PG258Q @ 240hz 25.5" 1ms Asus PG258Q @ 155hz ULMB 25.5" 1ms Asus PG278Q @ 120hz ULMB 27" 1ms...

Re: Looking for a good 120Hz native refresh rate TV as a mon
Someone in my family asked me the same question and I still don't have a good answer. It appears as if the best TV has a 22ms response time (except maybe OLED but then there are other issues?) with only a few TV's having native 120hz.

What should I be excited for in 2018?
So I was checking the list of upcoming 2018 monitors... And nothing really seems that crazy! I'm running the Asus PG258Q @ 240hz as my daily driver (With my Asus PG278Q 144hz 27" as backup) and I really can't see anything exponentially better in the horizon. Maybe at 27" with 2560x1200 resolution @ ...
