anyone here has zowie xl2546 ? quick question
what happens if your framerate dips below 240 fps on this monitor while using dyac at 240 hz? does the picture stutter a lot and does it feel really bad ? this is usually the case when running a strobed monitor and fps dips below refreshrate anyway, just wondering if its the same on this one !

what monitor today has best strobing at 240hz ?
today I have old asus vg248qe monitor and use lightboost strobing at 120 hz / 120 fps (sometimes 240 fps limit or higher in older games or low gfx quality settings games) and for motion clarity it is amazing, I dont mind the tearing but am very sensitive to motion blur, RTSS scanline sync is also am...

upgrading from asus vg248QE to 240hz monitor, competitive fps gamer questions!
so im still using asus 248QE monitor that I got back in 2012 or something and am very happy with it to this day, mostly playing games like fortnite on 120hz / lightboost enabled with 10% lightboost strobing brightness / 120 fps ingame limiter, tested 240 fps ingame limiter and also tested scanline s...

Re: Is turning off and on lightboost frequently bad?
i've turned it on and off very frequently on my asus vg248qe since 2012 until now so i'd say its perfectly fine, if you run 120 hz at desktop then games will also run at 120 hz, if some games trouble you with that like not being able to select 120 hz when you have 144hz on the desktop etc... after s...

lightboost on asus vg248qe using displayport?
hello, I have been using strobelight to enable lightboost on my asus vg248qe since I got the monitor in 2012 or so, extremely good results and super satisfied over all these years, but now is time to upgrade my gfx card and the new one will not have DVI connector, only displayport, until now I have ...

Re: So I Turned Off Lightboost...
There will be no way to stop the double image effect of 60fps at 120Hz with any tricks, except the software black frame insertion trick (e.g. blacking out every other strobe) No Scanline Sync trick can ever do it -- it is simply law of physics of the double strobe. https://www.blurbusters.com/wp-co...

Re: *** POLL: Adding Ads and Patreon to Blur Busters?
One-Stop Elements That Helps Our Reviewer Allies Some "elements" of a one-stop is a good idea; Blur Busters might actually accumulate links to Allies (e.g. RTINGS, etc) within those certification test reports, as a one-stop-for-all. Few reviewers link to other reviewers, but we're willing to link t...

Re: ULMB + SVP Pro 4 is amazing.
If I understood this right it converts any video/movie to 60 fps in realtime, more or less?

Re: *** POLL: Adding Ads and Patreon to Blur Busters?
text I voted for option 2,3,4 and 5 as I think they are all viable, What would REALLY interest me and probably a lot of other users who come to these forums to seek information and feedback all the time, would be something like in-depth reviews on the most popular gaming monitors, like the pg258q x...

Re: can you enable freesync/gsync on zowie xl2546?
No.You can reset monitor settings with a factory reset but not service menu changes. So I again insist warning you not to mess with factory settings. But if you still want to do it,then it will be your choice. :D I checked the monitor from internet and there is nothing about fsync and gsync support.M...
